The Grandkids are at their Dad's this weekend, so we're having Breakfast for Dinner: Eggs, Pancakes, Sausage, Bacon, Colby Hashbrowns, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy.

We were headed into town to get groceries, so we stopped at Subway. We've got a card that let's us buy a footlong and a 32oz drink and get a foorlong free so we used it. Our card expires Feb.1, so we had best make hay while the sun is shining. ;)

My wife had the teriaki chicken and I tried out the BBQ chicken.

We're doing a split dinner thing to account for adult vs kid tastes.

Three of us are having tomatoes that will be roasted, cooled, and then stuffed with a cold mix of black beans, rice, chopped garlic, cilantro, and green onions, then drizzled with olive oil and topped with fresh parmesan.

For the four youngest, they can try soft taco shells with the same filling as the tomatoes or have bean and mozz cheese soft tacos instead. I'm guessing they'll all go for the beans and cheese.

Tonight was pizza...homemade. I split the dough up so we could each have two small pizzas and the kids got to add their own choice of toppings. Yummy!

We started back on our diet, so things are changing in the food area. We are now having lunch as our big meal, making breakfast and supper lighter.

We had campfire chicken today. I wish we could have had a salad with it, but we were taking down and putting away all the Christmas stuff and was in a rush.

Other peoples homemade sandwiches always taste better than your own. Surprised Solomon did not add that to his proverbs.
