    http://www.theblaze.com/contributio...re-is-no-place-for-you-in-the-democrat-party/

    . . . the Democrat Party has, over the past several years, attempted to stamp out and destroy the very faith you claim to profess. It says not only that the institution of marriage should be opened to gays, but that Christians ought to be forced by the State to participate. It says not only that abortion should be legal and celebrated, but that Christian companies, Christian individuals, and even nuns should be forced by the State to fund the abortion industry and pay for contraceptives and abortifacients.

    So, can you be a Christian and agree with the Democrats on all of these points? The answer is clearly no. Agreeing with them means rather forcefully disagree with God. Can you, then, disagree with the Democrats on all of these points and still be a Democrat? Well, outside of the elderly and the fantastically ignorant, I have not found a single Democrat who does oppose the Party’s agenda in all of these areas

    The writer of the article needs to make more friends.

    There are Christians who do not use abortion and gay rights as the sole litmus test for political engagement. Being pro-life includes the issues around conception and birth, but it also extends well beyond that.

    Christians do not belong in any party or affiliation that promotes the slaughter of unborn children. It does not matter what other things that party endorses. such is evil.

    I would say that a Christian should not be beholden to a political party at all, but should chose carefully the candidates that will work for the common good.

    At this point, I can't identify with the Democrats or Republicans.

    I said nothing about being beholden to any party. Christians have no business supporting a party or person who supports the slaughter of unborn children.

    If they do, they make a mockery of their beliefs and might as well stamp pro abortion on their foreheads.

    Claiming they are pro life, but supporting the open aggressive baby killing agenda of their chosen candidate makes their hands as dirty as their Christian witness.

    There's no room in the Democrat party for anyone with true faith in Christ. Democrats are the party that not only embrace immorality and sin, but they try to coerce others to pay for and otherwise participate in sin and immorality.

    Ironic that you promote Trump, then.

    Your condemnation a bit hypocritical.

    Christians do not support policies that lead the poor to hunger, ill health, and bad nutrition.

    I believe you would be on firmer ground it you stated "Christians should not support..." Otherwise, you stand the danger of making secular politics a measure of salvation.

    That's another reason a Christian can't be a Democrat. Democrats spread poverty and illness with their policies. Just encouraging girls to sleep around does both.

    When I was young and dumb I was a Democrat. I'm not saying that to enrage anyone, it was true. I would vote Democrat because I was raised that way. I was saved at 28 years of age and still thought voting Democrat was ok until my boss sat me down and enlightened me to what the democrats supported (pro-homosexual & abortion issues). That is when I started voting for conservatives.

    Also if you see these reporters on the street asking young kids about political issues they don't have a clue, that is how I was in my 20s. So I said all that to say many democrats I feel are ignorant to what their party promotes.

    Heard a saying. If you are young and vote Republican, you have no heart. If you are old and vote Democrat, you have no brain.

    Let's create a list of many of the issues spoken about in politics;

    * Poverty
    * Jobs
    * Environment
    * Abortion
    * Homosexual Marriage
    * Racism
    * War

    Who agrees poverty is bad and should be addressed? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-Yes, God-Yes

    Who agrees Jobs are good and should be addressed? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-Yes, God-Yes

    Who agrees the environment should be cared for? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-Yes, God-Yes

    Who agrees abortion is wrong? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-No, God-Yes

    Who agrees homosexuality marriage is wrong? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-No, God-Yes

    Who agrees racism is wrong? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-Yes, God-Yes

    Who agrees war is bad and should be avoided? Republicans-Yes, Democrats-Yes, God-Yes

    So who is more in tune with God? (when I say "democrats" or republicans" I am referring to the party's positions)

    When I decided to register to vote about 20 years ago I had no idea whether to register as a Democrat or a Republican. My parents and relatives were all democrats, I really didn't follow politics prior to then so I didn't want to just pick a party because of my family. So I went through this list and as a Christian first and foremost, I had no other choice but to register republican and reject the democratic party. For the life of me I cannot understand any Christian yoking themselves to the democratic platform. I don't know how they plan on explaining that one to God at their judgment day. .

    An article over at The Gospel Coalition blog has a DC church leader urging fellow Christians vote for Clinton:

    https://blogs.thegospelcoalition.or...ngelical-leaders-tell-us-to-vote-for-clinton/

    "I think that evangelical leaders – in particular, conservative evangelical leaders – need to use all the influence God has given them to encourage thinking Christians to vote for Hillary Clinton. No dithering; no qualifications."

    "Fighting to protect life is important – but, with a candidate like Trump in the mix, it’s more important to protect your ability to fight for life over the long term."

    There are no "buts". Tell us what issue facing the world is more important than life or death?

    The author of that article, Nick Rodriguez, is mentally retarded. He can't articulate how Trump is as he claims "an existential threat to the Republic", Trump just is. Hitler's name is dropped. Oogly boogly. He's oblivious to Hillary's interest and opportunity to nullify the Constitution by appointing the Fifth Activist to the Supreme Courts.
