Name one person on this thread who thinks he/she owns the church the serve in or attend. Just one.

Yeah but Washer has a biblical message and his books are very saturated with scripture.

Well, to be fair, your title does say "your church," not Christ's church.;)

Personally, I don't see the problem with refering to the church where one is a member as "my church." It's much less cumbersome than typing out: the church where I am a member. Just like my street is where I live, and my school is where I graduated from, but nobody thinks I'm implying ownership.

Means nothing. The Devil also knows Scripture (Matthew 4:5-7).

IE.... anyone who shares that belief (Reformed, Calvinist, Particular Baptists) are not your brothers. They believe the same.

And the scripture also references Blind Guides & False Teachers.

Not all within those camps have their hope set on a doctrine of predestination. Most seem to have their hope fixed Christ, and His cross.

And not all within those camps have their assurance revolving around their works...although many do

Think that as long as he did not make LS salvation the only way to see the Gospel, would be fine!

We explain Predestination/elction in terms of he Cross/resurrection itself. We Major on the Cross, not 5 doctrines of grace!

Somehow, I doubt he'd be interested in coming to San Francisco. I assume he'd take the position Christians have no place living in "Sodom."

Think more like a really serious Lordship salvation brother!
Who would have you to doubt salvation based upon you not living right enough of the time!

    It's not a blanket answer....

Much like you can't throw a blanket over every Roman Catholic or everyone in the Church of God, etc.

Safe to say I'm EXTREMELY skeptical of those who seem to express faith in a doctrinal concept or their own performance
