Let me parse my position out, I operate under the assumption that for the most part, a new believer looks our Lord as Savior. As the new believer matures, he\she more and more of their life will come into conformity with Him. The transformation (metamorphosis)\renewing of Romans 12:2 is not instantaneous.

You are correct in that the LS view is one held by more mature believers. Or is this not what you implied?
