Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart.
Exo 20:9 “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,
Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
Exo 20:11 “For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.

Exo 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, YHVH, am setting you apart.
Exo_31:17 ‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”

Mat 12:8 “For the Son of Aḏam is Master of the Sabbath.”

The "Lord's Day" is not a transference to sunday rest, but it is a time of judgment upon the earth. Yeshua did indeed ascend to the Father on a sunday, but that was to fulfill the feast of firstfruits found in Lev 23. He was the first from the dead unto eternal life. This in no way changes an eternal commandment.

True believers obey the Father and not man.

Yes, the Sabbath (Saturday) day remains - for the Jews. For the Christian it's Sunday, in honor of Jesus Christ the Son of God

So do you also obey ALL the other OT laws?

That question has been asked of him before and he won't answer. I also am curious for the justification of following this particular command and disregarding all the others.

You dishonor Him by disobedience to Him:

Joh_14:24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

I've answered this many many times. Yes, I follow every law that I can and is applicable to me. There are 613 laws, and only a portion are able to be kept by any person. Some are for men, some women, some priests, etc.

Sacrificing today is not able to be kept because He said to only do it where He places His name and that was taken away.

You ask these questions in an attempt to discredit me and find comfort in your disobedience. This is not good.

Is Jesus God to you? And the Sabbath was NEVER mentioned in the NT as given to the Church under the new Covenant, correct?

Do you really not understand that taking away and adding to the Word of God is direct disobedience to the Law?

Secondly, could you explain, if you did have a place where "God placed His Name," why you would offer up sacrifice?

And I will have to catch up with you later, out of time.

God bless.

Incorrect. Nothing was added or taken away:

Mat 5:18 “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
Mat 5:19 “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.

Luk_4:4 But Yeshua answered him, saying, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Elohim.’

Luk_4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Act_15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Act_18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Transistion period, the Gospel was not yet taken unto the Gentiles, and there was no clean break with Judaism as of yet!

Are you not part of Israel? Where in scripture is there a covenant made with gentiles?

We see the promise of God to Gentiles in the promises made to Abraham:

Genesis 12
King James Version (KJV)

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

We see specific mention of Christ being The Covenant ...

Isaiah 42:6-7
King James Version (KJV)

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Isaiah 49:6-8
King James Version (KJV)

6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

7 Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

8 Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

And Paul declaring that same truth here:

Galatians 3:9-14
King James Version (KJV)

9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The "Promised Spirit" is the Eternal Indwelling of God that was promised in association with the New Covenant.

Anyone, Jew or Gentile, that believes on Christ...is brought into relationship with God through the new Covenant, and receives the promises given.

And just for the record, I am not part of Israel, I am a Gentile.

God bless.

It is true that the earliest Christians, who were Jews, worshipped at the Temple on the sabbath as was the custom of the Jews. And it is true that the Christians who were not Jews did not observe the sabbath in this manner. And it is true that the Christians gathered on Sunday.

The issue, however, is that there is no evidence those Christians who did observe the Sabbath (the Jewish Christians) did so as a religious rather than a national observation. Paul went to the synagogue, as was his custom, not out of a commanded observance but to witness to the Jews who would be attending the synagogue.

I ask the question because I was curious as to how consistent you are with keeping all Jewish laws. If you do then I take my hat off to you. I guess I am right then in my thinking that you are not a Christian, but a conservative Jew. Were you born a Jew? If not, have you gone through the conversion process or are you just going about it by yourself?

Jason said this:

"I follow every law that I can and is applicable to me."

What that means is that Jason and his cult group can pick and choose as they think and they determine what applies.

The problem of course is that when they stand before YHWH, He may tell them that there were laws which applied and they blew it. They didn't obey all the laws that YHWH determined were applicable, therefore they are cast into hell.

It's a sad thing when people try to work their way into heaven. They always miss the mark and die in the process for their efforts.

We are to keep the Sabbath 24/7.

Jesus Christ is the sabbath rest of God.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Hebrews 4
9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.

Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

No, I am not jewish nor wish to be.
No, they aren't jewish laws, they are YHVH's commandments
Conversion is being washed by the word (torah) after redemption (buying back) by the blood of Yeshua.

The weekly sabbath is 1 day a week. The other six we are to work (not let people take care of us as men). Religious people sure can get lazy.
