    Genesis says the stars were created for times and seasons and to give light upon the earth.

    There is no question about what Genesis says. The question is, do you believe it?

    I believe Aaron was talking about how the expansion is uniform in direction, and there does not appear to be any central point from which this expansion originates.

    There is no center only when assuming an unbounded and isotropic universe, but that is an assumption only.
