Trump has decided to end DACA, with 6-month delay

I was never for Reagans' amnesty program because I saw that amnesty leading to more amnesties in the future, and DACA is the second round of Reagan's amnesty on steroids. Should Trump grant any form of leniency towards these young illegal's, this will be followed with another form of a round three of amnesty two or three decades from now. In fact, the truth is, if we open the flood gates one more time, it will never end!

Trump needs to place three demands on this phase out of DACA. The phases are:

    1) Place all these DACA recipients on notice that they must move from DACA to active application to become a citizen, and they must meet that challenge in a reasonable time period! And that speaking English is not an option, but a mandatory requirement.

    2) We must include a Congressional end to the "anchor baby" laws, immediately.

    3) And the wall need to be built right now!

    4) Any children crossing our borders again, from this time forward, will not be reunited with families already in America, BUT rather, immediately deported, regardless of the excuses or reasons they present for rational to remain!

If we do not place in to practice and more importantly LAW what we have learned from the Reagan debacle, we will set ourselves up for failure again! And believe me, the foreigners wanting to come here illegally will continue to come! Remember, we will not always have a GOP POTIS. In four or eight years, we could return to the liberal, bleeding heart leftists, and see our illegal woes return.

What do you think we should do
    to prevent future immigration problems?

Considering that 100% of the DACA kids have NO criminal history and 91% of them are employed...I fail to see your problem here. Less than 200,000 illegals cross at the border crossings, most of them cross via air travel. You do know also that there are more EUROPEAN illegals here than Latinx illegals, right?

Regarding "anchor babies"...would you have ME deported? I'm an "anchor baby"...what would I do in my mother's country where I don't even speak the language?

You'd deport children with no provision for their safety or well-being?

Once again. You cannot be deported. Period. You are both a Jus Soli and a Jus Sanguinis citizen. End of discussion.

Tom, let's face it there are some very vocal types who would want to deport Saved. I can't foot note it. But back in the depths of the Depression, some not so bright lights in Wyoming\Montana loaded their local Hispanic (citizen or not) onto train cars and sent them south to Mexico.

Some of these DACA "kids" are pushing 37. I'm not so sure the extension is what he's going to announce, these things get twisted up far too often, but if Trump thinks he can reneg on a specific campaign promise, have Ryan and Mitch pass a DACA bill that Trump signs, he's dead wrong - Congress will NOT get the blame, but Trump will and deservedly so.

Of God, yes I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). How insightful of you to see that!?

Other then that, there is nothing I fear! Especially when it comes to your criticism! I live to please but one person in life, and that is God! So long as He is pleased with me, I am just fine!

Have a blessed and wonderful week.

You got my attention! Still, the law is the law! As far as anchor babies. We need to change the law, and no longer offer that excuse. You would definitely fall into the group of those permitted to remain!

I am sure you would agree that we have an immigration problem, if you can't see that or understand that, then I feel for you! As for the comment, as to where these immigrants come from, I never said they ALL came from south of the border! In fact, I think I mentioned all those nations from which they came!

If you have adjusted and love this country, and I mean assimilated and speak English, you would most likely be an exception to the case! There are exceptions to every case. But, we need to stop anchor babies, because it is one of the root causes of illegal immigration. The Asians have birthing homes all over Southern California, and once the baby is born the mother and child return home, waiting for the day they can bring their extended family to America to enjoy the fruits of citizenship on the back of that baby! Again, if you see no wrong in that, I feel badly for you!

Per your angry tone, I am reminded why I ignore you! I had to see what others were saying, and wanted to reply to your post, because I believe you are dead serious, but wrong, in what you are accusing me and my intentions of! God bless you sister. And Welcome to America!

If Trump destroys DACA he will be violating everything scripture teaches about care for the alien and stranger, and not oppressing the widow and the orphan. Thus, those who support destroying DACA are doing the same. Read your Bible and see.

And remember the Last Judgment in Matthew ... what is said there?

Biblical verses on how we are to treat aliens ... note the Bible does not differentiate legal or illegal:

    Ruth 2:10
    Job 31:32
    Matthew 25:35
    Matthew 25:38
    Matthew 25:44
    Ephesians 3:1
    1 Timothy 5:10
    3 John 1:5
    Deuteronomy 10:19
    Leviticus 19:34
    Leviticus 25:35
    Hebrews 13:2
    Deuteronomy 14:29
    Deuteronomy 26:11
    Leviticus 19:10
    Leviticus 23:22
    Deuteronomy 24:19-21
    Deuteronomy 26:12-13

I disagree in regards to President Trump, his administration, or the government in general. Our nation is not the church.

I agree with the last part, if provisions are not made for these people to become citizens (without deportation). We have a responsibility because we have allowed these people to remain in our country for decades. Some are being threatened to be deported to a country they never knew. There are too many Christians spreading hatred in the name of nationalism rather than the love in the name of Christ.

The government is made up of people. People are responsible for their decisions and their decisions should not violate such clear commandments on how we should treat others. Nowhere does scripture exempt government from God's commandments.

Your argument would mean that abortion should not be opposed as it is government not the church. I do not believe you agree with that.

No. My argument is that we have to stop expecting the world to act as if they are saved because Scripture teaches otherwise. Christ did not die for the kingdoms of this world but to usher in a new - and different - kingdom. Christians need to stop trying to solve Kingdom problems in worldly ways. The problem is not governments lacking Christian morals but Christians holding benign gospels.
