    Do they?

Are not they who divide by those that belong to The Church and those that do not?

On the other hand, what fellowship do believers have with idols?

Where is the Scripture source for the veneration of Mary, icons, water, Saints..., the kissing of rings, bowing before sinfilled authorities, setting the Scriptures as submissive to human views. These are all denial of the true faith once given.

Neither Peter nor Paul would recognize The Church as but anti-Christ.

The very person whom you quote so often, St. Paul himself , was a terrible sinner. He caused the death's of an untold number of Christians, he persecuted the Christian Church, he defied the Lord Jesus. Yet God saw fit the make in him the foremost evangelist that ever walked the earth. We all fall short of the glory of God, no?

I would say the Tabernacle where God dwelt, because that is where He was present. Remember what happened to the guy who touched the Ark of the Covenant?

It's not just one person, it is the whole Church that decides things. All the Bishop's gathered together in what is called a Synod or a Council, and guided by the Holy Spirit.

What????? At times you make no sense at all!

WHEN did God make much of His life?

Are you confusing that life he lived prior to his conversion with the new nature given him?

Paul, as are all true believers, was born again.

As such he could write that “NOTHING” separates a believer from the love of God.

37But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.38For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Is this what you believe?

Then why the confessional and holy mary’s demanded by priests? Why the last rites and venerations of those who are not God?

Does not the Church keep Christ on the cross? Is He not risen, indeed?

Well, you are wrong. For before the Tabernacle, there were the Scriptures and presence of God.

After the Tabernacle and the temple there are the Scriptures.

From the very beginning of “in the beginning” the Scriptures were already.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

How do you know they are “guided by the Holy Spirit?”

You have to admit mistakes were made in the past. By what authority do you confirm that such counsels are any more lead than those of the past?

Do YOU not have the Holy Spirit in which to guide you “into all truth” (John).

    As Paul said:
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Word was Jesus Himself, not words on paper. Can one have salvation with out the recorded New Testament? Can a person be "saved" without reading them? Yes Wilbur, most assuredly! I love the Scriptures, the Catholic Church loves the Scriptures and they are extremely worthy of study, but they are not what saves you. Jesus and His sacrifice on Calvary saves you!

First, Christ’s statement about the authority of the Scriptures:

24“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

39“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

46“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. 47“But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
    Next the work of crucifixion:

4“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

Christ was ONCE offered as the suffering messiah for all (Hebrews 10:12).

Now it remains that human kind is no longer required to pay penitence, but believe (John 3).

    Did not Paul state?
5For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness. 6But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” 8But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” (Upper case lettering in original copied)

And as Paul said in Ephesians 2:8 such salvation is the GIFT of God, not of bowing to a statue, saying hail Mary’s, penitence, indulgences, last rites, or any of the unscriptural teaching of The Church.

    There is a single difference.

I don’t know of a Baptist Church that pretends to hold the keys to heaven and hell in its power such as the Catholic Church claims.

That such perversions exist in any human organization should testify to all that no such power is held as the sole determiner of truth or even soul determiner over eternity by any organization.

That all must conform to the supreme FINAL sole authority of the Scriptures.

Then get on your bicycle and pedal over to the nearest RC church and start your preaching if you’re that fixated. They have Saturday evening services every week so the pious Baptist saints can preach to the heathen and wayward Catholic without Disturbing your own special Sunday gathering. Also do you have those night meetings where you burn stuff.... naaa :Wink

He was referencing the Old Testament Scriptures. There was no NT canon at the time He said those words, as I am sure you are well aware of. He is the Savior, the blood atonement for all mankind. He, Himself, and as you referenced before the risen Christ.

Amen to that brother, and that is what we believe.

We think otherwise and believe there is scriptural backing for them all. All you have is an opinion, an interpretation and many other people in this world of different faith traditions than mine or yours have differing ones. So, what makes yours right over everyone else's?

Brother i still have the original message, not of lick of it was a "personal attack".
In fact it was so general you would agree to it, who wouldn't?
    Here are the missing lines:

"Liars here are unbelievers of the bible. People who don't believe the bible is truth of God."

"Only LIARS don't provide scripture. "

"Show me YOU are a bible believer. "

"Only LIARS don't provide scripture. "

"or REPENT to GOD for going beyond what is written."

Personal attack would have been "YOU ARE A LIAR" And your name showing up in there.

Meanwhile he did call us "papist liars" probably gets a pat on the back for it.

That's fine, They can take me out for "any reason", we both know that.

    Zero Scripture.

We just need one bible verse, you gave ZERO.

What are we suppose to tell the "PAPIST LIARS" when you swear there is bible verse that supports your fake rule?

Malachi 1 is a God given prophecy. Simply it states :

"in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure"

This is in every nation, ALL DAY LONG.

There is only one acceptable offering to GOD--> Jesus Christ at the Cross.

We already got incense and the Pure Grain offering, 24/7 it is being offered somewhere, everyday.
