Not so. Don't forget that Jesus is Himself Almighty God! And He, says Paul, came into the world to save SINNERS, and since the WHOLE WORLD are so defined, it is must include ALL

Even though the Bible states that Jesus saved some?

Rather hyperbole and attempts at posting excess opinions does nothing to advance wisdom.

“The wisdom of God is FIRST ...”

“As much as is in you ....”

I’m as much at fault as anyone, but unless we all focus upon the truth of the Scriptures, the wild accusations will be used only for evil.

it does not help to have labled all people under a theology as being either deluded or flase!

So those under that theology are false teachers and thus not saved?

some are saved because only some will repent and believe. Another false teaching of some Calvinists is that the sinner does not need to repent BEFORE they can be saved!

So Spurgeon and many others have been either deluded or mislead?

matters not who they might be, if what they taught was not what Scripture does, then they are wrong. Remember Augustine got this "Atonement" theory completely wrong, as he did on "double-predestination", and other things!

    A word of caution

Do not assign that which is of the Holy Spirit as being of Satan.

The words “false gospel” is basically assigning such characterization. Doing so is claiming the person is not saved, and that person is being not only devious but deceitful in all aspects.

Calvinism as a Theology though upholds and honor the person and work of God, as we assign the salvation glory totally unto Him!

not so, John Stott the renowned Evangelical leader from here in England, was wrong to teach "annihilation", but this does not make him a "false teacher". I am talking about the "system" known as Calvinism, and not persons. It is like those who say they are Five Point Calvinists, and assume their "theology" is what John Calvin believed and taught. They are misled as Calvin never taught the "L" in T.U.L.I.P!

Very good caution, as by calling Calvinism a false Gospel, that does really imply all who ascribe to it are at best mislead, deluded, or at worst lost and false teachers!

if this is at me, you are talking nonsense! Just because some believe something to be true, like "Calvinism", does not mean that it is. And to say this "system" represents a "false gospel", is correct because it is NOT Biblical in much of what it teaches!

why the fuss? for those who hold to Calvinism as the only truth, whether you say it or not, you will believe that those who hold opposite views are "deluded" and have a "false gospel". Or, do you say that Armenianism is a TRUE system on the Atonement of Jesus Christ?

so they say. but this has been shown time and again to be not Scriptural, but it is still insisted upon!

Would day that it is another way to view the atonement, its just that penal substitution is the more accurate way to view it!

Who here would say that anything other than the Bible is source of doctrine/theology in the ultimate sense?
