Well, you should explain to me how it is Hitler's Germany and Christian heresy for Franklin Graham to tweet his approval of Trump because I think that it is okay under freedom of speech and under freedom of religion for Franklin Graham to tweet whatever he likes.

I agree. This started a long time ago probably with Reagan.

So this really is just like Hitler's Germany where clergy were imprisoned and executed and Christmas banned and it really is Christian heresy. Beam me up, Scottie, there's no freedom of speech and no freedom of religion with these two NeverTrumpers.

I wouldn’t say that...but I could venture a guess and since you did live in NJ you might have some appreciation for what I’m saying.

I’m not sure when you rolled into the garden state, probably in the 70-80’s right. Probably as a transfer from the south or Midwest to a corporate job with promises of a gratifying career and a lot more money... am I correct?

I came out of grad school in CA (Stanford MS-Eng.) to take a great job with Bell Labs in Holmdel in 1976. I had worked with a NASA contractor in Huntsville, Ala. for 3 years (after getting my BS in Eng. from NC State) before going to grad school.

Certainly. Franklin Graham has the freedom to say what he thinks and who he supports. I just thought that a Christian ministian with his background would support a godly man.

Strange that he is of the devil, for the former president was the one who pushed big time for satanic agenda such as gay marriages and promoting image of Islam all the time!

So why are you making these correlations? So what we have done is traded one scoundrel for another... only thing is, trump doesn’t pound on BO very much. Rather it’s the wicked witch of the west he contrasts himself to. And I would like to know why? Is it that he is insecure so he props himself up by making her the whipping ahhh (person)? He won the election didn’t he, so what’s his problem? And Yeshua1, you could be an apologist for this guy all you want & I know you want to give him a fair shake, but there is something major wrong with this guy and I hope you could admit it. Another person with a higher level of maturity and capability could have achieved as much if not more without the name calling, without the crudity etc. For example, Ted Cruz or Scott Walker.

As I suspected, and so what happened is NJ grew at a unfathonable rate, the place was replete with people from somewhere else (Bell Labs, AT&T, Merck and most of big pharma blah, blah) .... and of course you know what happened to property values & taxes, right (you & I discussed/argued about this).

Well when stuff like this happens it’s the common little guy who seemingly gets left out in the cold... suddenly he can’t buy a house in the community he grew up in and if he actually does his property taxes are enormously inflated... or he has to move outa state or something that is a major inconvenience to him and his family....you know stuff that causes resentment. Then along comes trump and he is going to be the hero to the forgotten man, you get the drift right. People are angry... they feel used, exploited—- so that every person who has to count his change feels they have been short changed....enter Trump and he is going to make it right (if only you are willing to believe & show tribute to him). For those who question his preeminent position as the darling of the people, we will get attacked, how dare you not pay tribute ? So there is your “new evangelical” and only time will tell where this will go.

Wasn’t he a drug addicted and alcoholic before coming to Christ? I work with these people for years...and they are the 1st people to warn me to be cautious of them as they could be devious. Now I don’t really know this guy so I’m not going to castigate him, rather I will start to study him for insight into his present demeanor.

Well, he has appointed more pro life judges than anyone before him in just 1 year, and he has more Christians running Govt departments than any before Him.
Is he perfect? Far from it, as he is still into thebad habit of shooting his mouth off at times, but comapred to President Obama, I will gladly take him warts and all!

What Christians has Trump appointed? Maybe the question should be: How do you define a Christian. Is it simply someone who mouths the right words but lives like the devil?

Trump had an illegitimate child by his second wife-to-be while still married to his first wife. Does that concern you?

All sins concern me. They should concern you. Your irrational hatred of Trump and behavior here concerns me.

Since the fall of Adam, we've had a sin problem in the world, from murder and bearing false witness. And there's not one man alive, apart from Christ, who has ever escaped it.

I am certainly concerned about my sins and understand the need to continually repent and turn away from them. God will ultimately be the judge of Trump not me. I'm talking about Trump's behavior as an American and President. I find it to be unacceptable. I believe we should demand from our leaders a basic level of morality and truthfulness which I don't find in Trump..
