I'd like to go deeper into this. I'd like to challenge you even on the issue of criticizing presidencies. I think the structure of our government allows us to criticize presidents (mere appointed office holders) if it's done correctly, without violating Scriptural principles. I'll appreciate your return challenges. Gotta run, unfortunately.....
I agree we have freedoms, both granted from our government structure and from God (although these may not be the same freedoms). Our nation allows us to oppose presidencies. I am not as confident Scripture does the same, but instead think we oppose principalities in this age (ungodly principles, ideologies, etc.). How this looks, I believe, is rendering due honor to the presidency while opposing ungodliness by standing for Christ.
