It is best to express opinions as such, rather than as some statement of fact. You would have neither science not bible to back that opinion.

You agree that there was massive volcanic activity. That caused an atmospheric dust cloud that reflected heat back onto space, causing the ice age. There is nothing new or novel about that idea.

I assume the flood was near the KT layer era. The ice age was nowhere near that time.

When do you think that the ice age was and what fo you think happened when so many volcanos erupted?

Well, I assume that after the flood nature changed probably in the days of Peleg. I assume the continents quickly moved at that time, not in the flood year. I assume that near the end of the rapid move the world was entering into this current nature, so that a lot of heat was produced. That means volcanoes and etc.

This leaves plenty of time for animals to rapidly evolve before the continents separated.

We know from history that volcanoes cause cold weather and snow in the summer and crop failure. So the volcanoes with the flood would have covered the whole earth with a dust cloud blocking out heat, causing the ice age.

That may be one possible cause. I don't think we could say that has to be the reason a volcano happens. The heat comes from deep under the earth. So what the weather is like topside seems to be of limited import. Now if continents rapidly moved apart, that would generate some heat. It also would leave heat deep under the earth at least in hot spots one suspects. The present physics would probably mean too much heat would happen from such a rapid movement of plates. In the former different nature that is not also true.

"The Deccan Traps began forming 66.25 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period. The bulk of the volcanic eruption occurred at the Western Ghats some 66 million years ago."

deccan traps type of volcano - Google Search

Most volcanoes apparently are far older than the ice age also.

Not sure how you think you could say they were mostly flood caused near the ice age?

Let's set Brown aside for a moment because he is just one of many dealing with the plates in the last 60 years or so, OK?

Do you agree that there may be tens of thousands of volcanoes worldwide, counting the ones underwater in the oceans? Now everyone agrees that there are huge scar trenched encircling the globe. This is where the water from under the land broke out.

Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

When the water broke free, the land broke up into continents because the plates were essentially floating. When the plates collided with something that caused them to stop moving, mountains were formed. At the same time perhaps thousands of volcanoes erupted.

The water would have been very hot. One observer suggested that the Artic Ocean might have been eighty-four degrees. If the atmosphere was full of dirt and dust and volcanic smoke, heat from the sun would not reach earth. At the north pole and the south pole, the warm water would be evaporating into a cool atmosphere that would cause it to fall as snow and ice. If the Ice Age lasted 700 years, probably the ice formed for 500 years and then melted for 200 years.

Here is a three and a half minute video on how the Ice Age occurred after the Flood of Noah:

That is the flood geology scenario, where they try to blame everything on the year of the flood. Those folks usually also try to say most geologic column layers were laid down then, and most fossils come from then, oil...etc etc.
As I said it is an effort to try and explain the flood using modern nature and laws. I also do not know that the water for the flood came from the ocean ridge area as you think. Yes I can see that that area was probably where the slide or move started. But there is no need for water jets there.
Again, you use modern nature to try to explain how it 'must have' happened. There are many many issues and evidences that all need to be addressed. How about the fossil record? The migration of animals after the ark landed? The shallow seas that existed before any flood? Mountain building? Where the flood waters went? How animals were fed on the ark and after landing. How the long lifespans ceased to exist any more suddenly? Where does the heat under the earth come from? (science says the big bang and subsequent formation of planets etc...which never happened). How could water rise up through rock to water the earth?

    Etc
Right off the bat the video claims "flood rocks contained" ash, and volcanic rock etc etc. That means they place the flood recently in the geo column. So where did all the stuff in the Cambrian layer and other layers come from?

There are too many issues here to deal with at once. If you disagree with the Ice Age following the Flood for 700 years, the other issues become secondary. The question is do you agree with the video or not?

Here is another video on the Ice Age from another Creationist source--Creation Ministries International. Actually, this video was produced in Canada.

No! Where did the 700 years come from? What proof is there the flood was at the time of the ice age? As I said, my opinion is that the flood was 70,000,000 years ago (science time) which equals about 4500 actual real years ago.

Job 38:29-30 KJV. Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

So..can you answer those questions? Did ice come from a woman's womb? What is the frost of heaven? Are we supposed to say that the ice at the poles on earth is now a frost of heaven? Should we define the words 'the waters' to mean the year of the flood?

It is thought that Job lived during the Ice Age, which was caused by the Noachian flood.

Maybe. But they don't know. We cannot infer that Job lived in the ice age and that this was caused by the flood year.

You yourself have rejected creationist scientist in favor of evolutionary scientists.

Your false allegations show a lack of understanding. Yes, evolution was rapid in the former nature it seems, and something God created. It started with the kinds. Unless you want to claim that every creature living and that ever lived was a created kind?

By the way, not sure how anyone can reject creationist science!? I hope you don't think the old lame duck of flood geology is creation science!? Ha. Trying to attribute the fossils and layers and all things to one year of history is actually not any sort of science FYI.

Plate Tectonics is not even debated by the evolutionists anymore. You have no refutation of the huge amounts of debris from volcanism dating from the time of the flood. You keep trying to bring in the geologic column to support you rejection of Plate Tectonics but that does not support your case since it is the millions and millions of years scientists and the evolutionists who are lagging behind in scientific research. The geologic column shows the massive deposits of volcanic activity, as explained in the first short video that I linked for you. The second video notices the ash, etc., in the ice cap confirmed by drilling core samples.

    Nor understood...so?
Claiming it was from the flood is easy I guess. Now you need to find some reason.

?? Plates move, the issue is how fast.

    Word salad.

There was a lot of hot rock, yes. No at the same time as the ice age for the most part though I suspect. Since you claim the flood caused the ice age you are in hot water here.
Yes there is ash in some layers...so? Your flood at the time of the ice age simply is not a serious claim.
