When reason vacates in regard to a given subject, the only weapons of argument left are in the hands of emotion. The simplest emotional weapons to wield are name-calling ,disparaging remarks, vitriol and acrimony for those deemed adversaries. All such ad hominem tactics provide nothing of persuasive substance, except to those whose reason has also been vacated on that same subject.

Infallible papal pronouncements "live on" apparently. Only in this case I doubt that the Pope would agree with your own "pronouncement".

Have you considered "scripture" as an alternative to simply making stuff up yet??

The Canon of scriptures has been fixed by God at the 66 Books, and EW writings were not included among them! Nor was Joseph Smith, not Pastor Russell, but if they were to be included in a Bible, would have been the satanic one!

Jude said that we now had the Full faith once and for all delivered unto the saints, and that was before 100 AD, so EW missed the cut!

Jesus said that ONLY His Apostles were to receive the Holy Spirit and inspiration to record down scriptures to us, and Paul saw Himself as being the last chosen Apostle! One out of season....

Jude did not say "scripture was only written while mankind did not have faith" -- so then no sense in making stuff up. No way to blame Ellen White for the fact that you have the constant need to "quote yourself" and make pontifical statements rather than quoting a text saying "no more inspiration after I write this last word and send this in the mail"

    utter nonsense.

    Read scripture. Less "quoting you"

Take a good look at 1 Cor 12 and 14 for starters

Josephus said it was fixed with what we call the 39 books of the OT at the time of Malachi ...

We are not arguing for "more OT" text and we are not arguing for "more NT text" - rather we argue that the 66 books of the Bible we already have already contain 1Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14 instead of merely "quoting you".

And you can't blame that obvious fact on Ellen White.... again.

Nor was the revelations of all those in 1 Cor 14 nor of the prophet Agabus nor of Philip's 4 daughters -- still "they existed" and this is irrefutable fact that you cannot merely "quote yourself" to get out of. Nor does your acrimony and vitriol against others - such as Ellen White solve your problem with your constantly "quoting you" as your "source".

I suggest you carefully study the meaning of the word "cult".

"please debate my video -- I have no idea what point it actually makes - but could you please watch it for me and debate the video. Something I would never do ... but maybe I can get someone else to do it"

I find a certain "harmony" in those posts.

No former Baptist fellowships. No former Presbyterian fellowships, but more than a few former SDA fellowship to help folks exit the cult. Over 700,000 people leave the SDA every year. Let's help free more of these people!

Here is the testimony of a former SDA pastor:

Roby I can find 50 meanings to the word cult, which one you picked?

I never said they don't have issues, but compared to the Calvinist version of God, SDA Character of God is more accurate.

Seventh Day Adventist Members are Spiritually Raped into believing they are the only victims of an evil world and that every other religion but theirs is evil. They are the Remnant the last portion of anything good in the world and the end can come next week, when all the evil churches lead by Catholics gather together to kill SDA folks because they refuse to worship on Sunday.

Like Jehovah's Witness they already in a FALLOUT world and everyone is evil. Jehovah witness practice shunning if you get out of line. I don't think SDA officially teach shunning.

You might have to find out from Bob how bad is it to eat a Pepperoni Pizza

But even though they might be looney about stuff even hating other religions,
the character of God and Jesus is based on kindness and love.

Which is infinitely better then the obnoxious megalomaniac EVIL HITLER-GOD of some folks on this thread.

Pick your poison the crazy good folks or the sane evil ones.

Video drones... easy to spot. Watch for it. :)

May have the tagline -- "please debate my video -- I have no idea what point it actually makes - but could you please watch it for me and debate the video. Something I would never do ... but maybe I can get someone else to do it"
