God used the threat of death to move Hezekiah into a good relationship and then healed him. If a doctor tells you to place a lump of figs on a wound or else you will die, would you comply?

 

Jesus left us an example to follow.

He committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth.When he was maligned, he did not answer back; when he suffered, he threatened no retaliation, but committed himself to God who judges justly.” (1 Peter 2:21–23) (NET)
