    One must be born again (saved) before they can believe. Jesus says whoever believes has eternal life.

    And the new birth and conversion happen at the same time.

    Not always, Jesus told born again believing Peter, “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Luke 22:32) (KJV 1900)

    But regeneration can happen at an earlier date. Man, this Calvinism doctrine is confusing stuff.

    Not every Calvinist believes that. I do not. I believe God draws His elect to the point of regeneration but I do not believe scripture teaches a person can be regenerated for an indefinite period of time prior to conversion.
