Can you produce a non-Israeli régime source of evidence to substantiate your allegation?

    A Hebrew professor commented:
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things,

so yes, we are in the last days & have been since Pentecost:
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh

In a sense, they were referring to the last days of Old Covenant Israel, & all the ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Since AD 70 we have been in the situation existing after that destruction -
Mat. 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Compare that statement with Acts 1:
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Where in these last days do we look for the Holy Nation? What did professor Peter say?
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We do not look to Israel at 70 for God's holy nation. We look there in vain. Instead we look to believers in the LORD Jesus Christ who form a holy nation distributed around the world, & are God's family regardless of ethnicity.

    As Professor Paul wrote:
Eph. 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Pffft. If you’re seriously going to give me that then I’m just going to say bad day for the Palestinian Jew-haters and let you question my salvation.

Have a great day, ostrich boy.

You can stoop to insults again or you can engage with the evidence. Up to you.

You’ve set too many parameters on what you will allow as “evidence” how me to waste any more time here.

Doesn't it make you wonder why they are disputing Hamas when Hamas is running Gaza while waiting for the elderly and missing in action Abbas to pass away?

It’s ludicrous. I don’t expect Britain to last. Their enemies are in their house, and America ain’t coming, this time.

You see that garbage Mitch put up about them refusing medical aid ? Kinda kills the narrative.

What you said about Spurgeon is not quite true, is it? Spurgeon clearly alluded to the prophecy fulfilled on May 14, 1948, that Israel would be born as a nation in one day.

And then you dodge the rest of the evidence. I have copied Professor Gerald McDermott's Scriptural references for your convenience, and he has shown that Jesus is talking about the restoration of Israel, which you erroneously implied did not exist.

Luke 13:34-35 (KJV) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Matthew 24:30 (KJV) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Zechariah 12:7 (KJV) The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify [themselves] against Judah.

Zechariah 12:10 (KJV) And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

Matthew 19:28 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Acts 1:6 (KJV) When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Acts 3:21 (KJV) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Revelation 14:1 (KJV) And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Revelation 21:2 (KJV) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:12 (KJV) And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

The Gazans are trapped in a tiny zone with a population of a million and a half, mostly on welfare. The Arabs will not allow them to leave. Now they are under the power of Iran, flush with cash thanks to Obama. They desperately need medicine for their wounds and illnesses, but Iran will not provide it and will not allow Israel to provide it.

The Brits are being dictated to by their own Muslim population. The other day they arrested a Scot with a potato peeler in an attempt to appease the masses by the law of no guns and no knives. No, the Brits only call on us when they themselves are lost and need help--other than that they don't like us or anyone else except their Arab allies, whom they fear. We are too broke to bail Europe out again. We'll know more this fall after the Swedish elections.

Meanwhile, they have failed to refute the OT and NT on the restoration of Israel, which even their own Spurgeon tried to tell them about.

Alluded to maybe, but quote - no.

    I answered those who quoted.

Interesting that he quotes Jesus saying this long before his entry on the donkey when they saw him & welcomed him with those words.

He could have quoted Mat. 23:37-39 at the end of Jesus' denunciation of the scribes & Pharisees, after his entry, when the people of Jerusalem were indeed welcoming him. He implies that they too would see him when they welcomed him as the people did. That would mean a positive response to the Apostles' Gospel call.

Some priests & Pharisees did believe the Gospel. Acts 6:7, Acts 15:5 Not enough to avoid the desolation of their house.

    I've answered these.
Rev. 1:7 is a quotation of Mat. 24:30. These Revelation prophesies were things which must shortly come to pass; ..... for the time is at hand.
Thus the reference (also in the Olivet context) refers to the destruction. See Rev. 11.

Rev. 7 introduces the 144,000 as believers from the tribes who were sealed to protect them from the 4 winds - the coming destruction. (AD 70) John sees these safe in glory in Rev. 14. Only redeemed Jews - firstfruits, could sing the new song.

    Rev. 21 is NH&NE not 1948.

I don't know how much more of a direct reference you expected Spurgeon to make.

You got nothing. Jesus clearly says that Israel is going to be restored before the Blessed Hope. Both the OT and the NT predict the restoration of Israel--the NT gives the words of Jesus on the subject.

Anyone who starts their interpretation of Scripture with "clearly" is out of bounds.
