Well, if that's the point he's making, and in this instance, it does seem to be that way, he is flat out wrong.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.[Romans 10:17NASB]

The elect of God will in some fashion be given the Gospel, as God will use His sovereignty to bring that to pass!

Well, ppl can be saved by reading the bible, too. But Wanda in a remote area that never a missionary has trodded, has never read a bible before, ever heard of the Christ, will come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everything in man's salvation centers around the word of God, not some clouds, trees, moon, stars, sun, &c.

Faith comes solely via the word of God.[Romans 10:17]

How about Barbara with severe cerebral palsey or Joe in a vegetative state?

I would make a more general statement....

"Faith comes by hearing the message of Christ."

I don't disagree with this, but you can find Him all over the bible, even in the OT.

God will deal with them and not do them wrong. Now, if they have the stain of Original Sin, and all do through the fall of Adam, then what?

I think he's off with his dispensationialism, but his soteriology is pretty good. But this thing concerns me. It was from 2008ish, so he could have change his stance.

while I respect his ministry, I'm corn-fused how he can use the same hermeneutic to develop a reformed Soteriology but have a premillennial pre-trib rapture stance. I wouldn't think that using the same methods for interpretation would lead you to those two conclusions. Just my thoughts.

Calvinism invites the question. Some Calvinist who deny that they are hyper-Calvinist affirm determinism. This essentially mean that God, by His eternal decree, has arbitrarily decided from before creation to save some and to eternally damn the greater number to hell. But not only this but everything that comes to pass is unchangeaby destined to occur by His design. So when Jeffrey Dommer ate his boyfriends, that was part of that design.

I think Calvinists should be honest and own the implications of their own doctrines.

John Wesley was right when he said Calvinism portrays God as more evil than Satan.

Jeffrey Dahmer did what he did because he had a wicked heart. How dare you even allude to God being part of that.
