I am not "date setting". If I were date setting, I would be telling you, "on September 11th at 6:00pm the Messiah is coming". I am not doing that. I am giving you the season the Messiah is coming, which is in the autumn, and the approximate time of his coming, around 2026 AD, which correlates with the current year calculation since the beginning, and the 1,290+1335 years of Daniel. These are not arbitrary numbers that I came up with, nor did I dream up these times, they are based on the timelines of the scriptures.

But he said we can know the season. Stop being willfully ignorant and learn.

Do you believe a Jewish Temple will be built in Jerusalem before the coming of the Lord?

You will use ANY excuse to bare your anti-Catholic fangs. You strain gnats and swallow camels. This in NOT a thread on the 'Gospel according to Rome', it has though, become one where the pope (s) are accused of being anti-Christ. Here you are debating eschatology with a man who denies the Trinity. Let me ask you, Yeshua1, is he a Christian?? Yes or no? If he is not, based on denying one of the basic tenets of the Christian faith, why debate him as if he were saved and just a bit twisted in his views of 'the last days'? He has been asked time and again 'what is the gospel' and he refuses to answer. Now you don't seem to give a rip what he thinks is the gospel but you will take any opportunity to attack what you think the Catholic teaching on justification entails.

The following comes from a paper in one of my files and I cannot find the source, but it comes from scripture itself:

The pope does not meet the criteria to count as the antichrist.

Here are some of the criteria of the antichrist:

    • he will be one person: “the lawless one.” (2 Thess. 2:9)
    • he will be alive at the rebellion: “[when] the rebellion comes…and the man of lawlessness is revealed…” (2 Thess. 2:3)
    • he will contribute to the rebellion by deceiving people: “The coming of the lawless one is…with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.” (2 Thess. 2:9-10)
    • he will claim to be God: “[he] opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship…takes his seat in the temple of God…[and] proclaim himself to be God.” (2 Thess. 2:4)
[*]he will do powerful signs and wonders: “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders.” (2 Thess. 2:9)
[*]he will attack Christians: “this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them.” (Daniel 7:21; also Rev. 13:7)
[*]he will deny the Father and the Son: “This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:22)
[*]he will not confess Jesus: “every spirit that does not confess Jesus…is the spirit of the antichrist.” (1 John

I have read that Isaac Newton, a devout Christian, wrote over 3 million words on biblical subjects. And his 2060 AD end time prediction to me is the most believable.

I do believe that the Catholic church is a Christian church and, due to the geography and time periods, the most populous of the Christian groups. And I would go on to say that Pope Francis is not a bad guy. I believe though, that they will have company in the last day with the likes of Protestants, Orthodox, and etc.

I believe that. None of the popes were Anti-Christs. But whether or not the Catholic church will embrace the Anti-Christ when he comes along will remain to be seen.

To be a true Christian, one must hold that Jesus is full y God, as is the Holy Spirit!

The Church of Rome teaches a false Gospel, and the current Pope denies hell, denies Jesus is only way to heaven, kept silent on the Alter Boy diasaster etc!

    Well said!

Yes or No, is he a Christian? BTW, he altered his profile page. It no longer says 'Jewish/Christian' but simply Jewish.

If he does not view Jesus as being Yahwah, he is still lost in His sins!

I believe this prophecy is imminent, or it could take place in time. I have always wondered about the timing of the quoted prophecy.

Though I have stated timing in going along with Isaac Newton. I do not believe one can put a timing on any of the un-fulfilled prophecies, and have a great following. Especially as so many have been burned with the likes of folk like Harold Camping

The "little horn" already warred against the people of God and prevailed against the people of God. Those were the inquisitions and massacres that were prophesied to happen for 42 months, which are 1,260 years of persecution by the popes. How the pope will fulfill those remaining prophecies remains a mystery, for the temple of God is indeed about to be built, which in turn gives room for fulfillment of prophecy to what he could do once that structure is built.

Yeshuah is not Yehovah. Two different persons.

Excellent verse. Are you therefore obeying Torah? Have you put on your tefillin? Are you wearing your tallit and tzitzit? Have you fixed a mezuzah on your doorpost and another on your gate if you have one? Have you given to the homeless man you saw when you drove by? I sure hope so, there are all commands that are still binding today.
