Thank you for sharing your testimony. Hopefully you followed through with Believer's baptism. May God continue to lead you (and me) on our pathway to heaven!

I guess if I wasn't an Old Line Old School Primitive Baptist I would probably be a Puritan... Are they still around?... If not then I would lean the way of kyredneck in post number two... Him and I seem to think alike... But I do like the Puritans and I dig their cool hats!... Brother Glen:D

Yes, many Puritan churches are still around after nearly four centuries. Look for "Unitarian" or "United Churches of Christ."

First Church Boston - Unitarian Universalist
Trinitarian Puritan churches eventually joined together in the United Churches of Christ, such as this one where Pastor Mark Dever of Capitol Hill Baptist Church was once a minister:

Topsfield (Massachusetts) Congregational Church - United Church of Christ

Well I'm glad I do not have to make that choice so I will just stay where I'm at... Never had to jump from one denomination to another or from one church to another to another, but thanks Jerome... I can always buy the hat and get those fancy shoes with the buckle... Brother Glen:)

In Britain at least, many Puritan churches still survive intact, especially the Particular Baptist ones. The Met Tab in London (Spurgeon's) is a direct descendant of one established in 1650 and once pastored by Benjamin Keach.
London Metropolitan Tabernacle - Metropolitan Tabernacle
And this one, where I sometimes have the honour of preaching, was founded in 1653.
Newhouse Baptist Church – Newhouse Independent Baptist Church, Smeatharpe, Devon – Evangelical …
The same doctrines are still being preached today.

    Well Benjamin Keach may disagree with you. As would;

If I didn't belong to a Baptist denomination I'd probably lean towards a mennonite congregation.

I choose none, in whole. All of them hold lies and all lies are going to fall away. I stand solely on the Word and only embrace the truth in all. I do believe however, Orthodox and Catholicism hold the Dogma of faith therefore, more truth than Protestantism.
I do not recognize the pope as the head. I do think some definitions concerning Dogmas are incorrect, but in comparison to Protestantism they hold more truth.

We are saved by faith that Jesus Christ died and rose again for our sins and as the Scriptures so clearly say what we do in life will be judged as well. So if you do not believe that, you are not getting the full gospel.

"...what we do will be judged as well."
2Co 5:9 KJV - Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Co 5:10 KJV - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.

The results of this judgement will not result in being condemned to Hell. Praise God for our Salvation by His Grace!!
