Let me show you Catholic worship of Jesus Christ.

Feeding-the-Homeless-620x413.jpg

I saw this Wednesday, by Southern Baptist Daniel Darling (VP at Russell Moore's ERLC):

Daniel Darling, author of The Dignity Revolution: Reclaiming God’s Rich Vision for Humanity

"the gospel compels us to love our neighbor. In many cases (early opposition to Roe v. Wade, for instance), Catholics have been way out ahead of evangelicals in speaking up for the most vulnerable."

"evangelicals are often tempted to neglect the most vulnerable among us, much like the priest and Levite on the road to Jericho"

"in Washington, D.C....I walked past a homeless veteran....But my daughter wouldn’t let me keep going. 'Dad,' she said, 'this man is made in the image of God. We have to help him.' After hearing my typical excuses...she pulled a 20-dollar bill out of her wallet and approached the homeless man. 'Here you go,' she told him. 'I want you to know that God loves you.' Her words broke my heart and exposed my own temptation to ignore the vulnerable."

"Catholic theologian and ethicist Charles Camosy....champions the idea of a 'consistent life ethic.' By this, he means that an authentically pro-life witness involves more than opposing abortion. The same values that commit us to protecting the unborn, he argues, should govern our thinking on a range of issues that weigh upon the lives of the most vulnerable—issues like capital punishment, assisted suicide, war and peace, and economic and social inequality."

Praying to statues of Mary, calling her queen of the universe, praying to what the Catholic church calls saints is worship. And it is ungodly

No prayer is just a fancy word for request. The idea prayer = a sacred word that means worship started out here in united states. Which is why you don't here this dumb argument from Christians of other languages against Catholics because prayer hasn't lost its meaning.

I prayed to God for a Lamborghini and hot babe girlfriend. You think that's worship of God?

Based on what you prayed for no. It appears you neither understand prayer or worship

Correct, no man is perfect, but don't we at least strive for holiness as we live our lives? When I help a homeless person, minister to the sick, or am deep in prayer that is holiness. If I have lustfull thoughts, refuse to help those in need, and sometimes just be a jerk, holiness is far, far away.
Seems Faith is sometimes like riding on a roller coaster there are times we are more faithful than other times. Seeking holiness is what all believers do. I call it trying to be more like Christ. He sought out those who were in need of healing and helped them .He came to seek the lost and save as many as believe in Him.

Which is what you attempted to call sister White with the numerism.

Procatholicism Andrew, again? Yeeesh.

You cannot deny that the SDA is pro-ABORTION and your hospitals/clinics are abortion mills. So you attack one of your own and falsely accuse him of being pro-CATHOLIC. What makes him pro-Catholic, Alofa ATu? Being pro-life? When we call you out on your abortion loving church you try to condemn the Catholic Church as being the cause of your churches sin. Everyone here sees through you. Andrew sees through your Molech worshiping church, why can't you?

Frequently asked questions about Jesus and His Mother Mary answered.

1. Was Jesus God Incarnate upon this earth? Yes.
2. How did He get here? He was born of a Jewish virgin.
3. What do we call the person who gives birth? The mother of the one who was born.
4. Again, was Jesus God? Yes.

And there we have it Wilbur, proven beyond a doubt that Mary, the Jewish virgin is the Mother of God who came to earth.
Jesus as God's sole Son from eternity is indeed God with His Father. But the only true God has no mother. What has a mother is no God. The man is not God, God is. Jesus, preincarnate said, ". . . for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: . . ." -- Hosea 11:9 (John 1:18; 1 Timothy 2:5-4, yet He is still God, John 1:9-10; Hebrews 1:3).

"What has a mother is no God."

The idea a mother superior or creator might be a pagan concept not a christian one.

There is only one LORD.

Isaiah 45
5“I am the LORD, and there is no other;
Besides Me there is no God.

There is only ONE LORD, ONE GOD.

Luke 1

39At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

Elizabeth FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, says...... MOTHER OF MY LORD. There is only ONE LORD, ONE GOD. You sure the proper term isn't MOTHER of my FOOT or mother of my nephew.

She CLEARLY says MOTHER OF MY LORD. Folks you are a Jewish woman, there is only one LORD. She Clearly recognizes GOD's CHOSEN MOTHER.

Luke 1
31You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.

SHE conceived and gave birth to Jesus. He didn't teleport there. He didn't say ok I'm ready beam me down into that woman there.

She is his mother doesn't make her superior in any way

If you look up every objection by a theologian to Mary being the MOTHER OF GOD it always turns out them projecting the pagan idea that a mother is superior source or originator of God. This argument is childish and stupid.

If we want to say originator/ CREATOR of God. We will say it.

Mary is the MOTHER OF GOD.

Actually no, it is disproof of the "trinity" (as commonly, not exceptionally, defined), though it does demonstrate the scriptural account of the Trio, or Three Persons/Beings, wherein the Person/Being of the Father is in Heaven, the Person/Being of the Son standing in the water on earth, and the Person/Being of the Holy Ghost coming down between anointing the Person/Being of Jesus on behalf of the Person/Being of the Father.

"trinity" doesn't teach that God has form, body, parts, likeness, image, shape.

HOW GOOFY CAN YOU GET ??????????????????

At Jesus. baptism, Jesus was, of course, physically present. The HOLY SPIRIT arrived in form of a dove. And A voice from heaven boomed, "This is My BELIVED SON...".

Clearly, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit were each manifest, physically separate from one another. These FACTS weren't placed in all the "gospels" just to fill space ! God WANTED them there to show the fact of the Holy Trinity.

And Jesus said "My Father is greater than I." Not even Jesus can be greater than Himself! Jesus also said He would send the Holy Spirit. The sender is always greater than the sendee. And Jesus also said He could forgive blasphemy against Himself, but not blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Jesus' words prove He & the Holy Spirit are separate Personages, as well as His saying His Father was greater than Him, proving THEY are separate Personages as well.

But they are all Members of the one-and-only Godhead. Sound impossible ? "WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE !"

Yes, Scripture plainly establishes the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, which is an English shortcut for speaking of Father, Son, & Holy Spirit collectively.

Go easy on our SDA buddy. They didn't figure out trinity till the SDA conference of 1980. Only took them 2000 years to figure out God was a trinity.

Before 1898 they publish ANTI-trinity teachings.

Its funny because their cousins the Jehovah Witness They started with trinity then they dumped it.

Ask him if Michael the archangel is God.

And you, you deny Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and that is ungodly. You of all people should not be standing in judgement of others.

What we all do has been done since the Last Supper, it's you folks who changed it over 1500 years later. You follow Zwingli and his determination about it, we follow God and His determination about it.

According to a Pew Research study released last month, just one third of U.S. Catholics believe that the Eucharist is the body and blood of Christ. I also read a story about it on the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw site. Maybe it's not the Baptists you need to convince. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just pointing out there may be a real problem with Catechesis.

Just one-third of U.S. Catholics agree with their church that Eucharist is body, blood of Christ

I'm Catholic, let me tell you 1 third sounds bit optimistic to me, that would sound like miraculous great news if its true.

I would have figured its less then a quarter. I bet you can run poll for sola scriptura it might be the majority believes thats the case. I even assumed that was the case.

I rarely run into a catholic who understands real presence.

We have been there done that Walter. You keep using the false propagandistic terminology (I am pro-Bible), do not define the words you use (abortion, which I did so - Link), and simply refuse to address what I have shared already -

Roman Catholicism and the total abuse & murder of children (incl. abortion).

I even address specific cases - Link, & Link

Finally, you are not interested in actual discussion of the topic, and merely desire to slander and libel. You simply seek to derail any conversation with a non-sequitur, simply because you cannot address the material I present in any consistent logical and coherent way, or defend your position from scripture (or even historically or medically for that matter). It is quite telling actually that you constantly resort to such tactic. Frankly, its a yawn, for the reasons above.

I even already addressed the matter of the official position in the OP of that thread, rather than individuals personal opinions, and again, after it was not addressed, at all:

Roman Catholicism and the total abuse & murder of children (incl. abortion).

So you admit the Seventh-day Adventists theological position is the correct one, in which the Father and the Son have body, parts, form, shape, likeness, image, correct?

You misused the words "Godhead" and "God". They are two differing terms, with differing definitions.

Secondly, you also misused the Bible text. False doctrine is illogical and incoherent, such as the "trinity" doctrine (as commonly, not exceptionally defined). Simply saying with God all things are possible (to defend that which is in error), you also just allowed such things as (the false doctrine of) Universalism (Satan will be saved and in Heaven again, etc) to be correct.
