Br. Jewel Smith was one of my teachers.

I worked with him and have viewed and studied all of the original Historical Bibles he carried in his collection.

He had original copies of most every Bible used to create The King James.

We have WARRED together against various heretical views that folks in our fellowships advanced (for a season...)

I am a child of God AND a child of those Saints and Ministers of God WHO PERISHED IN the FLAMES, for THEIR BELIEF in GOD.

I seem to gravitate towards those who broke the back of the Catholic church. (They must have had something right). Calvin, Luther (before Melanchthon) resulting in the early London Baptists.

 

Catholics one and all. Sacramental nature makes them so. Did London Baptist’s have a Catechism like Luther and Calvin?

Catechisms and creeds are summaries of what scripture teaches. They appear in Acts and elsewhere in scripture.
“As they went through the towns, they passed on the decrees that had been decided on by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem for the Gentile believers to obey.” (Acts 16:4)

 

So according to your explanation, the RC catechism is valid then.
