No, St. Matthias was chosen to succeed Judas, not St. Paul.

Acts 1:24-26 ---> And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.” And they cast lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Are you genuinely not aware of this? It seems like you are simply talking out of your hat and making things up as you go.

I knew Matthias was chosen by the Apostles, but think Jesus chose Paul Himself!

Oh, so there would be no new leaders on this earth to guide the faithful into the future? That's crazy talk.

Jesus just didn't write a book and tell the succeeding generations of Christians to figure it all out for themselves. Nope, he never did that and there is no place in the Holy Scriptures that says such a thing.

Another great post. The only words Jesus Himself wrote were in the sand before the scribes and Pharisees. Furthermore, the only words Jesus commanded ANY Apostle to write were to St. John to write down his vision in the Apocalypse.

I’m confused by the statement, ‘Jesus just didn’t write a book’. Isn’t all Scripture God-breathed? Can there be a contradiction between the Second and Third Person of the Trinity? Jesus wrote Scripture... please explain.

What book of Scripture do you think Jesus wrote?

Is Jesus coequal to the Father and the Spirit? Don’t they all hold the same divine attributes? If I understand you correctly you’re saying Jesus’ words are more important than the Spirit-inspired words... please correct me if I misunderstand.

Yes, you are misunderstanding. The Scriptures were written by men under the inspiration of God. Jesus didn't sit down and write Scripture. In fact the only words Jesus wrote were in the sand before the Scribes and Pharisees. The Scriptures are revelation presented to us through the prism of history. God has not dictated the words of Scripture; rather the Scriptures bear the impression of a history that He has been guiding from the beginning.

    Hope that helps. God bless.

    1 Timothy 2

3This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

You forgot Stalin was Catholic too. I don't see what this has to do with Martin Luther's teaching and theology you praise.

Between us..... you got the nazi theology. Your nazi theology is so bad you can't even deny it. You can complain about it being tagged so. But in teaching, the teaching itself is completely evil.

Like if you called our theology a nazi theology, we would just laugh about it. You can't laugh about it. you can only take offense because even you know its evil and sick.

Before the foundation Your idea of God hated people first, before they created them. He only loves those who are born with the proper spiritual skin.

You couldn't say well that is nonsense of course God is good and give hundreds of reasons why he is good. Instead you are stuck with trying to justify all the evil you think he does on account evil is a privilege.

Jesus Christ, GOD, is our example of how to live. It would never work with your idea of God who flat out hates folks without condition. Under your view a christian flips a coin whether he should treat anyone with kindness.

Well he didn't. He was a man of action and thus he became the sacrifice for us all - so no book from him. But the one thing he did do was to establish a church here on earth led by men who had the authority to act in his name. They were needed to instruct and lead the succeeding generations of Christian believers by deciding the things that they should be believing concerning the faith.

Take for instance the Holy Scriptures. They themselves did not come into being as we now know them for some 300 years. There were many different writings that were being bandied about, so even which writings were to be included into the canon had to be decided upon and this took people to do the deciding.

God gave to us Pastors and teachers to instruct us in the Bible and its doctrines, but never gave to us a"Mother Church", certainly not one with infallible interpretation, as that is the task of the Holy Spirit Himself!

Remember Jesus saying hate your mother, father, brother and sister? IT's called figure of speech.

Firstly I didn't forget that Stalin was trained in a Georgian Jesuit seminary.

Secondly, I don't have Nazi theology. And I don't follow Luther, I only believe what I see in the scripture, And as you continually claim that God is evil, I don't think you are right in the head.
