Tell me, did you get vaccinated for smallpox when you were a kid? Did you get vaccinated against German measles? If you have children were they vaccinated against German measles? How about chickenpox?

What are all the underlying health problems that existed? The vast majority of people dying have other complications that are a large factor in how COVID19 is functioning in their bodies. This virus is not acting in a bubble.

There is no correlation in your question. No one has said that humans shouldn't use proper hygiene or that humans should not try find a vaccine.

That is how influenza deaths work too. All respiratory infections preferentially kill those who have more underlying health conditions who struggle to fight off the disease. But that person would not have died then if it were not for the respiratory infection.

If you want to downplay covid19 deaths because of preexisting conditions, then you have to do the same for influenza. And the gap between severity of covid19 and influenza would be even more pronounced.
