But even at that - there are several churches that use the BFM - 1963

I don't like para-church organizations very much. My church has a regret on their website about George Floyd, which I consider inappropriate. I fully support the 2000 BFM as it enunciates my personal beliefs. Mohler was talking to former Australian Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson a couple of days ago. Mohler is an intellectual. He talked mostly about current events.

Seeing this reminded me of how things were when I first joined the Baptist Board, 2001. Anytime something negative was said about homosexuality, a firestorm of criticism would erupt. It was really shocking to see on a discussion board which bore the title "Baptist Board." People claimed to take offense with the excuse "I'm not gay but many of my best friends are."
Looks like most of the moderates have moved on to other media leaving just us grumpy old men here to debate the issues.

"Because of the opprobrious epithet "liberal," today they call themselves "moderates." A skunk by any other name still stinks!"

The newbies around here complain how they believe it has gotten worse around here. I assure you this place used to be far worse than anything they have seen.

This goes right along with L.E.F.T.
    Liberal Education For Terminology

Liberals DEMAND we use certain terms - so those activities/thinking does not sound so bad.

    For example:
Why are they so afraid to say they are pro-abortion
Pro- Choice - I tell people I am pro-choice because I believe only the baby should have the right to choose abortion

NOTE: I have deleted most of my post - as it off OP
    I reposted it here: L.E.F.T

Normally, Moderate to me means someone who claims to be say a calvinist, but is really 3 or 4 pointer, or even an evangelical Arminian!

Once a person or a group move off the Bible as being fully inspired and infallible, then their entire theology Well become in time suspect!

Yeah, I was a Moderate Baptist into Charismaticism. I become a Christian four and a half years ago, and then join this board a few months later. I kept some of my wayward Charismatic ways, but the Holy Spirit's discipline and you guys here got me out of That stuff.

The fruit of so called "moderate" Christianity is Theistic Evolution, Charasmatic Chaos, women pastors, and alternate lifestyles!

    Most Charasmatics are very fundamental.

Not sure I'd agree. The very first/primary fundamental is the Bible is inspired Word of God and authority for mankind.

Anyone who believes and teaches "revelation", "special knowledge" and "inspiration" of people today as the voice of God ATTACK the doctrine of inspiration and are as bad as papists and NOT fundamental.

Why wouldnt we speak his name? He wasnt a source of any problems. Calvinists attacks on him are. But no it was a bunch of different people and groups.
