Why Some Saved Believers Will Be Left Behind?

This warning is given to the Church At Thyatira;

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.... I believe the next reference is explaining why they are left behind but also why they are still saved, but missed out on the firstfruits of the resurrection.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit so if it id destroyed, hence physical death, then we can see why the spirit is still saved, because Jesus shall lose none of all the Father has given Him.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. KJV

Which confirms the applying of His words in the next reference as Jesus being faithful in keeping the souls of His saints left behind while they suffer the coming fire on the earth & coming great tribulation.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. KJV

So for the saved believer; either his or her last day is at the firstfruits of the resurrection or after the great tribulation. They are both saved without works, but discipleship is about running that race by faith in Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd looking to Him to help us lay aside every weight & sin daily for the high prize of our calling which is to be that vessel unto honor in His House crowned by His crowning achievements in us.

His workmanship; not ours for why the just shall live by faith in how they run that race; by resting in Him to finish His work in us to His glory. That is all a child can do is trust the Lord for everything to rest in Him.

But not every saved believer is running that race by faith in Him to be their Good Shepherd when they are too busy religiously or secularly in living their lives on this earth, forgetting His words to be ready to leave or else.

Luke 12:40-49 was a warning to the believers as those cut off are still called His servants for why they are getting stripes per the measure of knowledge they had for not being ready or less stripes for the lack of knowledge they had.

Luke 21:34-36 is proof for why saved believers should pray to be worthy for that escape from what is coming on the earth as the cares of this life can be a snare that saved believers will not want to leave.

Luke 17:26-37 has the reminder of Lot's wife on how life can be a snare for believers not willing to leave.

Luke 14:15-24 shows the excuses saved believers will have for not wanting to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven.

Luke 14:25-33 is revealing the cost of discipleship in following Jesus; not on this earth, but being willing to leave this earth for when the Bridegroom comes.

Those are the references explaining to me why some saved believers will be left behind. Am I applying His words correctly in according to the same topic at hand or can you show me how those references do not align but are to be applied differently? I am open to learning His words, but I believe He confirmed His words to me on this issue, but as iron sharpens iron... I am opened to being pruned by Him daily to bear more fruit in the knowledge of Him. John 15:1-2

I had addressed that reference in the OP.

Explain Revelation 2:18-25 in the OP about how those saved believers were called to repent or else be cast into the bed of the great tribulation.

And then address how God will judge those on how they built on that foundation in 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 where the spirit is still saved in verse 15, but the body is destroyed; hence a physical death in tying with what happened to those saints in Revelation 2:18-25 as they were judged according to their works.

In God's House, there are vessels unto honor & vessels unto dishonor, but both are in His House. If you see the purpose of excommunication by the church on unrepentant believers, the you may see how God will judge His House at the rapture.

Are not the saints left behind will have a war waged upon them by the devil during the great tribulation?

Now see the requirement for sitting at the Marriage Supper table in Heaven as being the same for holding fellowship & eating with one another.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. KJV

I believe that is what the prodigal son is all about where he gave up his first inheritance for wild living. He can never get it back for once the door to the Marriage Supper is closed, that is it, but he is still son. Salvation is not lost, but he is disqualified for what he has built on that foundation for defiling the temple of God which we are.

Salvation is not at risk, but the rewards are. There is more than the loss of crowns when becoming a castaway is.

Discipleship is about running that race by faith in Jesus Christ looking to Him as our Good shepherd to help us discern & lay aside every weight & sin daily in walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. So Jesus is our hope for how we run that race as our confidence is in Him to finish.

A student is not allowed to pray from the podium during graduation...
Having politicians or others say nasty things about us......

NONE OF THESE ARE TRIBULATION.
Granted - we would like complete freedom to do what we think is best -

BUT if those things - excessively overwhelm you - you don't even want to think about the tribulation.

It is during the great tribulation of Christians that “apostasy” (falling away) occurs. Brother will turn against brother and so on. Professing Christians (not believers) will reject Jesus to avoid persecution. Only those who endure to the end are saved.

The wrath of God is poured out at the great throne judgement, not during the tribulation of Christians.

The references you cited from Matthew are not of the rapture (one is taken, one is left) but of people being killed during the tribulation. One is taken, one is left. It denotes widespread persecution of Christians.

We are in the tribulation now regarding the falling away from the faith. It is the great tribulation that believers are called to be ready or else be cast into.

You have to address Revelation 2:18-25 because these believers were warned to repent or else be cast into the bed of the great tribulation.

That is why Jesus is warning believers to be ready or else throughout the four gospels. He is not warning unbelievers. Read.

I apply this to "slain in the spirit" the "holy laughter" movement, Pensacola Outpouring, Toronto's Blessings, feeling His Presence in the worship place where the spirit of the antichrist is at per 1 John 4:1-4, and seeking another baptism with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of tongues ( which is why it is not a foreign language at but the same pagan supernatural tongue found in the world as gibberish nonsense hence God is not the author of this confusion ).

Proof of this as the reproof for those apostasy is how Paul reminded believers of the tradition taught of us for when we had received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel.

The great tribulation is after the rapture. If you note how the 3 angels that sets up the hour of temptation whereby the first angels brings the gospel to every one on earth so that have no excuse for not knowing the gospel, then you can understand the end coming by that second angel which then the event of the great tribulation unfolds with the mark of the beast system & the soon revelation of the son of perdition in that Temple for the Jews in that time to flee.

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. ~ KJV

So the tribulation is now; before the rapture. The great tribulation is after the rapture.

6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

What you reference does not oppose His words in other scripture because those left behind are still saved but their last day when they will be resurrected will be after the great tribulation as vessels unto dishonor in His House.

There are 3 harvests that makes up the whole of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. KJV

Paul adds more information about the first 2 & then the last one when the devil is released from the pit after a thousand years when after that small season, death is finally defeated & thrown in the lake of fire too..

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. ~ KJV

Jesus warned His disciples & all saved believers to be ready or else. Salvation is not at risk, but being of the firstfruits is. That is where reprobate comes from as being disqualified to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven.

Jesus told us He would return and the elect would be gathered after the tribulation.

The very notion of “tribulation” is that Christians suffer for the cause of Christ. It is a “tribulation” of Christians, otherwise it’s just the world of evil doing evil, which has never ended.

It is during the great tribulation of Christians that “apostasy” (falling away) occurs. Brother will turn against brother and so on. Professing Christians (not believers) will reject Jesus to avoid persecution. Only those who endure to the end are saved.

The wrath of God is poured out at the great throne judgement, not during the tribulation of Christians.

You are reading about 2 events in 2 Thessalonians 2nd chapter. The falling away is before the great tribulation.

Jesus warning His disciples about abiding in Him also comes with another set of warnings on how they can be ensnared by the cares of this life that they would not want to leave when the Bridegroom comes.

Luke 12:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. ~ KJV

Now consider that believers would never take the mark of the beast to buy & sell to survive in this new world order so why take heed about being snared by the cares of that life during the great tribulation? So this warning is for the times we are living in now to escape what is coming on the earth.

There is more.. Luke 14:15-24 speaks of believes invited making excuses for the things of this life to not leave for the King's supper.

Luke 14:25-35 is about the cost of discipleship where it is not about how we live down here while serving Him, but being ready to leave everything behind, our loved ones, our lives, is the cost of discipleship.

Luke 17:26-37 refers to Lot's wife in that she did not want to leave her life from Sodom.

So none of Jesus's warning applies for believers during the great tribulation for being ready, but before the great tribulation.

I have to disagree with you because scripture is not addressing Palestinians, but saved believers to be ready or else.

We are in the tribulation now regarding the falling away from the faith. It is the great tribulation that believers are called to be ready or else be cast into.

You have to address Revelation 2:18-25 because these believers were warned to repent or else be cast into the bed of the great tribulation.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. ~ KJV

That is why Jesus is warning believers to be ready or else throughout the four gospels. He is not warning unbelievers. Read.

Every reference to “tribulation” is a reference of the tribulation of Christians. The context is clear.

Presuppositions can appear to be clear. The fact that there will still be conversions in the Tribulation doesnt deal with how God will treat the church.
