No Sir, you are implying something else by using my quote without the clarification.

You drive a big black car.

    No Sir.

I am implying exactly what I was telling tyndale1946.

Perhaps we can be perfect (we have the ability in Christ) but we are also dragging around the "old man" in us.

We take up our crosses daily. We should not sin, but when we do we have an Advocate in Christ Jesus.

If I have something to say, I say it. I do not say one thing and mean another.

You are wrong. I drive a small 2019 Ford Escape.

    Sorry.
I cannot deal with a covert political person.
I am one also but with far less skill.

    I meant your kingdom car.
Take me by the little hand and go like this:

Sorry, but I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

In terms of secular politics I believe it is inherently worldly and something to avoid.

In terms of my post to @tyndale1946 I mean that we are not perfect and have to keep that in mind as we continue to follow Christ.

That is about it. Cut and dry, plain and simple. Nothing implied yet not said.

I do not know what you mean by black cars, kingdom cars, covert politics, or the like.

I understand you support the Left. I take it you consider yourself a "moderate"?

I believe we are accountable for our voices (and God will hold us accountable).

You may be a Democrat (or support the Left) for what you believe are better social issues. But you still support abortion by giving the Left your support (even if you are pro-life).

While I cannot identify with your politics (I have never supported...or even leaned Left... and have never voted Democrat), I can identify with having political leanings. I have historically been a Republican (which you know from my comments supporting Trump).

But even before Trump I was being convicted to abstain from politics. This speaks to our current imperfections (I was not initially obedient).

So we were opposite - you are a Democrat, supporting the Left but leaning Right.

I was a Republican, supporting the Right and leaning more Right.

Now I see secular politics as worldly and unable to solve the problems it pretends to address. Your party is ultimately just as futile as is the Republican party.

I am afraid we do not have time on this thread to explore this, but I do think we all could benefit from walking through your politics (an example, not "making an example of").

You state your position as supporting the Left but leaning Right.

What is it about the Left that merits your support?

What is it about the Right that has you leaning that direction?

Why do you continue to support the Left if they do not support your beliefs?

(I will start another thread, a part 2, to give us time to continue).
