So Jesus is not fully God?

    A creed should present what is believed. Only the word of God and sound reasoning based on accepted truth can serve as any kind of proof. But while a creed can present the word of God, creeds are not the word of God in place of the written word of God.

    Do I like to argue? I do like have a friendly discussion on points of differnce and interest. I do not like hostile argument.

    What you don't understand about the Creeds is how they explain the hard to explain. Anyone can gain much from a cursory reading of scripture. But how to put it together takes great learning and skill. If you ever read any creeds, you can easily see where you are lacking in what you believe about certain topics.

    Are you Jehovah Witness?

    The moment Jesus was conceived/born was He fully God and fully man?

    Or do you believe He became God at some other point? At the resurrection perhaps?

    And yes, IMO you keep dancing around this question.

    I am a Baptist Christian. I hold that the Christian New Testament is the sole apostolic authority of the Christian Faith.

    Now if you were to explain to someone how to know for sure the would go to Heaven, what would you explain?

    I have been a Christian since 1962. My first study Bible is The Scofield Reference Bible and concordance the Oxford Cyclopedic Concordance. In 1968 and on I made extensive use of the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance to do careful topical Bible study.. Now the first creed in the mid 90's I looked at taught the false doctrine of the Son being eternally begotten. Utter nonsense. It is the fruit of the error of Arianism.

    I still don’t understand the point you are trying to make, but I’ll leave you to it.

    If someone asked how I know I’ll go to heaven my short answer is that God Holy Spirit indwells me and Holy Spirit testifies with my spirit that I am a child of God.
