    Read what you just said.

    Humans must DO in order for God to act.

    What you proclaim is salvation by fulfilling the law. There is no salvation by grace in your teaching.

    You have man as the cause agent and man causes God to react. God's response is an effect of man's action.

    You can't read very well can you? Jesus is the cause because of His invitation to come unto Him. You simply do not understand what you read do you? The Lord Jesus invites us to come to Him and you deny it. Your the one with the problem. You can't let go of your false doctrine long enough to see the truth.

    Thank you, it does. The gospel is proclaimed, God Holy Spirit convicts us of the truth and regenerates, which allows us to respond with faith in Jesus bringing us into a saving relationship with God that culminates with indwelling Holy Spirit as the Seal of God that we are His children.

    peace to you

    We go by what the Bible states, which is thatv salvation from start to finish is the work of the Lord, Romans 8!

    More imaginary bull. God does not just save people with out there cooperation. The gospel places faith in our hearts by hearing it.

    Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    The holy is renewed with in us. The scripture here does not say the Holy Spirit does it
    Rom_12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    Tit_3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    These verses do not say the Holy Spirit regenerates us it's say the Holy Spirit is renewed.
    You're still adding to scripture your silly doctrine.

    I deny what you claim not scripture. No one here is denying that it's Jesus' work.You deny that it is He that invites to come to Him. You falsely claim that it's the Holy Spirits work. We are convicted by the Holy Spirit but we are not regenerated by Him. We are regenerated by the washing and renewing of our minds only then can we have the Spirit indwell us.
    Tit_3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Would this solve the dilemma.

    The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29
    whom God did set forth a propitiation, through the faith in his blood, for the shewing forth of His righteousness, because of the passing over of the bygone sins in the forbearance of God -- Rom 3:25
    and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born out of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth; to him who did love us, and did bathe us from our sins in his blood, Rev 1:5
    and he -- he is a propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world, 1 John 2:2
    and if in the light we may walk, as He is in the light -- we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son doth cleanse us from every sin; 1 John 1:7
    if we may confess our sins, stedfast He is and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness; 1 John 1:9

    Now there may be a glitch or two, considering methinks this all involves the Holy Spirit.

    Gad stated once upon a time long, long ago.

    Joel 2:28 And it hath come to pass afterwards, I do pour out My Spirit on all flesh, And prophesied have your sons and your daughters, Your old men do dream dreams, Your young men do see visions.

    I might ask. Afterwards? All flesh?

    Acts 2:32,33 'This Jesus did God raise up, of which we are all witnesses; at the right hand then of God having been exalted -- also the promise of the Holy Spirit having received from the Father -- he was shedding forth this, which now ye see and hear;
    Acts 2:38,39 and Peter said unto them, 'Reform, and be baptized each of you on the name of Jesus Christ, to remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, for to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.'
    Romans 8:23 And not only so, but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting -- the redemption of our body;

    Why a word like first-fruit?

    Acts 15:7,8 and there having been much disputing, Peter having risen up said unto them, 'Men, brethren, ye know that from former days, God among us did make choice, through my mouth, for the nations to hear the word of the good news, and to believe; and the heart-knowing God did bare them testimony, having given to them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us,

    Is not those, not the same as those having the first-fruit of the Spirit in Romans 8:23?

    Has the afterwards of Joel 2:28 taken place as of yet?

    Acts 15:16,17 After these things (Afterwards) I will turn back, and I will build again the tabernacle of David, that is fallen down, and its ruins I will build again, and will set it upright -- that the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all the nations, upon whom My name hath been called, saith the Lord, who is doing all these things.

    afterwards, I do pour out My Spirit on all flesh,

    Acts 15:18 'Known from the ages to God are all His works;

    You have Jesus as a passive billboard with a sign reading "You are invited." You know what the response is, if the Holy Spirit does not quicken the reader? The response, according to scripture, is that the reader considers it utter and complete foolishness.

    The cause is not the billboard. The cause is the Holy Spirit working directly and particularly upon the sinner to drive him to Christ.

    MB, you teach a weak and passive God who cares so little for humans that he merely advertises and the shopper must decide. My goodness what you peddle is cheap. Give God his due credit for choosing to save you instead of lifting up your self as the important one in your salvation.

    What!!??

    My man, I have provided scripture after scripture. Here you outright lie regarding where I find truth. The Word spoke and I responded. There is no other place to go but God's word and I will always point you there.

    I am offended by your false accusation.

    A pathetic God who sacrificed his own Son on the Cross to offer salvation to all lost sinners, and yet sitting on the edge of His throne waiting to see if any would respond and make the "right decision?"

    Even worse...Jesus payment was not enough. It was ineffective for many people.

    It is mind boggling to read someone teaching such a weak God. I am astonished.

    I have no idea. I can count the documents of John Calvin I have read on one hand and none were full documents or books. He's certainly not my guru (guru is a hindu thing anyway).

    So be offended; I don't care.

    What you've provided is Scriptures plus private interps you've either invented or been taught by some quack. Jesus doesn't just automatically save someone who doesn't even bother to ask Him, nor repents of sin.

    In John 3;16 Jesus said, "whoever BELIEVES..."

    Paul wrote, on Jesus' authority, "whoever CALLS on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

    There's more to it than just BELIEF. Remember, SATAN believes on Jesus much-more than you do. But he certainly doesn't ask jesus to save him; instead he works to try to thwart Jesus, & some of it is inventing false stuff such as YOU'VE posted.

    And MANY holding to a teaching that the Cross was and is not enough, that we must contribute to salvation by getting water baptized, taking communion, taking sacraments etc!
