In fact, I would argue that John 3:16 does not deal with individuals at all so I do not know why people try to make it do so.Does not say it. Correct.

Correction, I interacted with him more than 30 years ago.I interacted with Dave at a Bible conference about two decades ago.
Will YOU accept what the Bible actually does teach on God's Great Salvation, and not what some "theologians", who are clearly AGAINST the Teaching of the Holy Bible, claim to be what the Bible says???
Dave Hunt brilliantly deals with the MANY errors of Reformed/Calvinistic "theology". They who have ears to hear, let them open them to God's Truth.
Just pointing out that Calvinism and Arminianism are both wrong.
That's why it's hard to convince either side that the other is right.
Even though he really does not understand what we hold regarding the Doctrines of grace? Will YOU accept what the Bible actually does teach on God's Great Salvation, and not what some "theologians", who are clearly AGAINST the Teaching of the Holy Bible, claim to be what the Bible says???

I don't follow either!
Which view do you hold to?
Even though he really does not understand what we hold regarding the Doctrines of grace?

The Bible
You are probably right, but must the "ignorance" accusation be leveled in every discussion about Calvinism.Even though he really does not understand what we hold regarding the Doctrines of grace?
an idiotic response.
Are you unable to explain what you actually believe?
You might want to rethink how language works. The whosoever is not a word on its own, it is whosoever believeth. It is a group of individuals.then you argue wrong! The English "whoever" is the Greek "Πᾶς", which is in the SINGULAR number, meaning INDIVIDUALS.

Why is it idiotic when you know from my many posts what I believe
Because saying "the bible" tells everyone nothing. You mentioned that your aren't a Calvinist or Arminian, so what are you? Or do you hold to views unique to yourself?
ALL claim that, even the Cults! The Bible
I do not mean that he was stupid, but that he was attacking theology he really did not fully understand! You are probably right, but must the "ignorance" accusation be leveled in every discussion about Calvinism.
You do realize there are people who understand but do not accept Calvinism.
So you have a vast library of reformed writers that you have never read??I have been a born again believer for almost 40 years, and have never read the works of either side. the greater majority of my commentaries and theological books are from Reformed authors. I have over 500 books.
Your statement is Works salvation.God loves the entire human race. But only those who repent and believe will be saved
