many are suggesting that whoever filled in the end of the book used the historical know events of what the Apostles themselves did, but not was to be a proof text for pentacostal theology!

The Holy Spirit ONLY inspired the 66 Books of the Canon, and nowhere else, period!

one though can reject that longer ending and 1 John 5:7 , and still hold an infallible bible, fully trustworthy and authoritative to us!

1 John 5.7 and 1 Timothy 3.16 Luke 1.35 Acts 8.37 John 3.13 John 9.35 etc etc. Are some readings that the Lord has preserved in the KJV

God inspires people all the time. God is not dead. Any inspiration will not go against what He already said. Inspiration is just God working in lives and the world. The bible is inspired by God. So as I said, the inspired book from God department is already a done deal. Any other lesser but maybe also inspired books will agree with that. Not all inspiration is equal. Someone might sing an inspired song, but it still might have a few lines in it that are not quite so good.

Maybe stop trying to be deep and be clear. Did not God decide to have a book for mankind? Would He not oversee the process?

I don't do religious terms, and have no desire to start using them. However, I think you are saying you think you can detect inspiration. Fine.

You made that up. Making stuff up is more of a mother that godly deductions. We do know Mark left the mission field so he is known to leave things unfinished. If he learned under Peter then we can assume he learned to do better in some ways. Therefore if someone claims the ending for Mark was a forgery or con job we need proof. Not conjecture and speculation. Shoe, meet other foot.

I did ask if that was possible. Or should we assume God never thought about that part?

No? I find some more inspiring than others. Funny, that. However since they mostly all seem to say the same thing, pick whatever you like.

How about Mark finished his book later in life? Can you rule that out? There were no denominations back then. If Mark did finish it, and felt inspired about how Paul was healed from the serpent bite and etc, so what?

Oh? Last time I checked the Spirit was alive and well on planet earth, in the lives and hearts of believers. Maybe you meant to say that God (the Spirit) had already finished the bible, so that was a done deal, and He worked in other ways on other things?
