Not of all known sins, but turn to Christ alone to save them from their sins!

what do you say about Jonah 3:10, in the KJV? "And God saw their WORKS, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not"

Yes, agree with that, but God does not require you to give him the laundry list of all of your sins before can get saved!

Jesus also stated many times to come unto Him to find rest, and that command implied trusting in Him as your messiah "alone"

The doctrines of Grace are historical calvinism in regards to salvation proper!

James and Paul were not Catholic.

Calvinism is very recent, like 16th century. Jesus Christ, Who is Christianity, is 1st century!

Did you notice that I didn't 'state it'? I quoted James 2:24.

Amen on that. The only requirement to come to Christ is to sense your need for him. I think it was Martyn Lloyd Jones who said that anyone who preaches the gospel correctly would at some point be accused of antinomianism. Even John Owen said that when a person comes to Christ they are initially concerned with Christ as a savior, not as king. But he warned that if you refuse Christ as Lord you are not a Christian.

That's one of my favorites. It would be nice I think, to sing it in an actual Primitive Baptist church where the drum wasn't so loud that it rattles my fillings. (Sorry, just an old man rant).

Again, it depends on the dispensation/age.

I have no problem with that, but am concerned when reading or hearing "unless Jesus is Lord over all areas of your life, he is Lord over none:, as have any here actually submitted to Him in full as Lord, nothing ever being held back on "for ourselves>"
