Get ready for some heat. Not all Baptists are "nice". But the same goes for all other denominations, too. I have participated on forums of different brands of Christianity and encountered some people claiming to be Christians whose fruit was, shall I say, "suspect".

False doctrine of the heretical RCC.

We do not believe that the those books, which Mormons have, are canonical.

The Eastern Catholic Churches use the term "Mystery." The Greek Orthodox Church did, however, use the term Metousiosis in trying to define the Sacrament.

That it magically becomes the body and blood?

It does not magically become His Body and Blood. Catholics do not believe in magic. We do believe, however, that by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the words of Consecration, the bread and wine are substantially transformed into the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm a member of a Southern Baptist church, but I'm more of a Christian "mutt". During my Christian walk, I've attended Presbyterian, Assembly of God, and several non-denominational churches. Additionally, I've also attended Army chapel services and missionary home churches while I was in the Army. I've felt at home in each of them, but never completely agreed with any of them on all doctrines. I like this site for the same reason that I like this church. As was mentioned earlier, Baptists are generally very welcoming. I enjoy the discussions here, even when others disagree with my views. Generally, I find the members of this forum very cordial and mature. We may not always agree, but we can remain friendly, as we agree on our core Christian beliefs.

[EDIT] Forgot to mention - along the way, I've also picked up some Reformed Theology (Calvinist) doctrines. I chew the meat of what I pick up and spit out the bones that I don't agree with.

In the early 80's I went to a fundamentalist Baptist church. Our pastor told us "I don't care how loud you shout or how high you jump, but when you hit the ground you better be speaking English!" And when he took his jacket off, we knew he was really gonna preach.
(Also, I am posting now, note the time, so you all know I ain't watching the half-time show.)

Why do you come on the Other Denominations sub forum, to abuse, insult and denigrate other denominations core beliefs.
There’s not even a small hint of Christian charity in your words thus far, just bile and vitriol.

Well if the truth makes a man speak that viciously, who would want to learn that?

Have you heard the saying, ‘God opposes the proud, even when they are right’

It’s all about delivery dude. If you have truths to share, share it with kindness, patience and love.
