Featured Is Putin the beast/antichrist?

Other Readers, you may have seen on other boards or social media the rumor that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is the beast/antichrist, & his invasion of the Ukraine is the beginning of his empire-building. Let's put that hooey to rest now.

The governing factor is, of course, SCRIPTURE.

I have no idea what Putin's beliefs about God REALLY are, but supposedly he'a an Orthodox Christian who DOES attend church on high holidays & encourages the restoration of many churches destroyed when the Communists came to power. But SCRIPTURE says that the beast won't acknowledge any god but himself. Nowhere does Scripture say he will PRETEND to serve God. Yes, I know no devout Christian would do what Putin had done over the years, but does that make him the beast? Of course not.

Far as we know, Putin is not of Roman descent, as SCRIPTURE says the beast will be, but his ancestry is not known before the 1600s.

It appears the beast will be popular & charismatic, with many people admiring him & wanting to follow him. Even before the Ukraine invasion, Putin was not even admired that much in Russia. With the Soviet Union, he was a KGB member.

SCRIPTURE says he will begin his world domination by making an empire from the peoples & nations that made up the first 2 Roman empires. There's zero possibility of Putin's doing that, as any attempt by him to do it would result in WW3.

He has no false prophet for a sidekick, as SCRIPTURE says the beast will have. This FP can work certain miracles by Satan's power in his boss' presence.

No, Putin doesn't come CLOSE to fulfilling all the SCRIPTURAL criteria for the beast/antichrist.

 

Guess we can add Putin to the list. As I've said many times, the REAL antichrist/beast will be an extremely-popular & charismatic man, admired worldwide, with many people eager to follow him. The people will be like the girl in "Hotel California": "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device."

 

As John wrote, there have been many antichrists, & Jesus said whoever was not for Him was against Him. But just as there have been many antichrists, Scripture refers to one who will be worst of all, becoming world dictator while acknowledging no god but himself.

Same for "the" false prophet. There have been, and are, many FPs, but Scripture mentions one who will be the most-false of all, as he will operate with Satan's power & be able to perform miracles with Satan's power, such as making his boss' statue speak or call forth lightning.

I DO believe Napoleon and Hitler were forerunners of the true beast, who will make those past dictators seem as naughty toddlers in comparison.

 

They were wrong. it'll be one man, not a whole line, & he won't acknowledge any god but himself. (2 Thess. 2:2-5 & Rev. 13)

Rev. 13: 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

As for "prisoners"...

2 Thess.2:9-139 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with, all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ...

 

The worst antichrist of all will make Trump, Putin, or any other person thus far accused of being the AC seem like a naughty toddler in comparison.

 

The AC's empire will be built at first from many of the peoples & nations of the old Roman empires, & the AC himself will be of Roman descent. However, we can't rule that out for Putin, as his ancestry is unknown before the 1600s. But he's never been very popular outside Russia, while I believe the AC will be popular & charismatic worldwide, at least for awhile.

What the Ukraine thing is, is part of the "wars/rumors of war" prophecy. I shall continue to pray for God's protection for the Ukrainians & for the unwilling Russians sent to invade their country.
