    You do realize my post had to do with the NIV, NLT, and CSB and emphasizing the necessity of making distinctions among the various translational approaches.

    MM tells it like it isn't a lot of the time. And he even tells it like he expects it to be in the future --with no warrant.

    Yes, in 1984 we were not so concerned with being politically correct with gender inclusive language.

    Don't you ever get tired of throwing temper tantrums whenever someone voices a personal preference in regards to translations that differ from yours? People don't need to prove to you why they dislike something.

    I have the Spurgeon CSB, but I haven't really used it. From what I've read it is ok, but no, I'm not a fan of the gender-neutral language used in it. I like the '84 NIV, but the only time I really use it is in my parallel bible with the KJV, NASB '77, and Amp.
