I told you before eph1:3-14 are all one sentence in the greek text....all are one explanation...God does His saving work resulting in sinners being drawn savingly to God.

Did you not see the other verses there? But then this is a common type of response for calvinists. Try to avoid what is in the post. Shameful really.

Actually you said Eph 1:3-11 was one sentence. I just pointed out to you that you should not overlook Eph 1:13. Still not factual in your posts.

God does draw sinners to Himself but you forget that those sinners have to accept the offer of salvation. God does not force them to be saved.

I know you don't quote all of scripture and cut off Paul's thoughts. Paul tells us that observing nature alone will never bring saving faith.
    Romans 1:21-23
For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

    Do you not understand this?

This passage answers the whole and shows you why one verse in isolation needs the whole context.

    Ephesians 1:3-14
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Why is it that you distort God's word by ignoring the whole context?

I am convinced reading what you "Reformed/Calvinists" write, that you guys are truly BRAINWASHED by your man-made THEOLOGY!

IF, you would only CARE to READ what the entire passage in John 3:16-18 actually says, then you would not ask the dumb questions that you keep on asking!

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    Verse 36 adds

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

now which part do you want me to explain for you?

LOL, sbg thinks we don't read scripture and only read some mythical "calvinist" pamphlets somewhere. Moreso, he thinks that when we read the Bible, God or some other spirit brainwashes us. He cannot accept, nor will he even receive passages of scripture in context. Perhaps, sbg doesn't realize that the word "for" in John 3:16 is a preposition that connects what came before to what John is about to state. The whole passage defines the singular verses.

But, how dare we read all of scripture. According to sbg, that means we are brainwashed.

Such is the view of a person with control issues who demands of God that humans be in control of all things and God remain a consultant.

    Okay, do it.

Meanwhile the scriptures says about Jesus Christ these words.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Receiving Christ is receiving life because he is life.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; 24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

It is a sure thing you know nothing about this mystery, which is Christ in gentiles or you would not be ignorantly commenting like you do. The scriptures have context that must be honored but also must be taught by the Spirit of God.

The letter to the Ephesians teaches us the mystery of the church, gentiles in Christ. Colossians teaches us about Christ being in us. Us in him and him in us and both one. When you understand that Jews are in him first and he in the believing Jews who have accepted him, then you will understand that the church has a trinitarian nature and is in the image of Jesus Christ, who is a trinity.

You must accept Jesus Christ of the holy scriptures to be saved.

1 Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Jn 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Being in Christ and Christ being in us is eternal life, he says.

How did he get in us?

Gal 3:414 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Not before him, but through him.

    Think!

LOL, God being fully Sovereign so that there is no rogue molecule that is not under God's control equals... a "perverted theology."
I can't make up how sadly funny this accusation is.

Speaking of ignorantly posting....nothing you posted says anything about the man centered idea of man accepting...it is not found in scripture.jn 1 :13 explains nicely who are those who received Him, and that not by the will of man,but of God.
Before you go on the attack, perhaps it would help if you learn something and carefully study the passages you offer.
Another thing....the mystery of the gentiles coming in has nothing to do with the discussion.
Hate to burst your dispensational bubble but there were people saved before Israel was a nation.

It is more than an error to say that God is practicing full sovereignty if full sovereignty is defined as his commanding and controlling every action that takes place on the earth. It is more than ridiculous to make such a claim. Have you never read that God has a stewardship program?

Psa 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

God accomplishes his will on the earth in his providence with the cooperation of those who will bow the knee to him as Lord.
