    Those guns are what allowed us to throw you lot out of our country. We do not live is a socialist country as do you… we are not slaves to fear! And we at least have a constitution which insures our citizens rights an freedoms… so what to you have?

    You mean "citizens rights an freedoms" to mass murder?

    Do you know why there are 13 stripes on your flag? We are still very much IN your country, with MILLIONS, like 60+ who can be traced back to the English! Without the Pilgrim Fathers, there would be no USA, or True Christianity!

    Firearms are fantastic things! In Texas twice was an AR 15 used to stop attackers in a Church, but the news media was mum about that. Firearms are used many more times by the good to stop criminals every day in America. . The extreme rich only tell you about bad shootings. They never tell you about the good shootings because they don't like serfs who don't need them for anything. We are not slaves, and will choose death before you can take away our ability to defend ourselves and loved ones. I am a Christian and am armed like all free men and women ought to be!

    I trust in the Living God of the Bible to protect and defend me. I will never change on this because once you open the door to firearms you cannot control its use

    The stats says that the rate is falling

    This does not justify the need for a Christian to own a gun

    Jesus Christ would most certainly not own one

    I disagree.

    I have several friends who hunt. Even some who fish carry a pistol (not necessarily to use against people). I have a friend who jogged with a 44 magnum in a holster strapped across his chest (for bear).

    I have a pistol (a 9 mm) because I enjoyed going to the range (I don't carry). I have shotguns because my son shot skeet in high school.

    The problem is not guns but the hands in which guns find themselves.

    I considered carrying a gun fishing. We have alligators.

    The UK has an issue with stabbings. Likewise, the issue is not knives but wicked people.

    It doesn't allow for mass shootings.

    Traditionally the SCOTUS has interpreted the 2nd Amendment and right to bear arms as an individual right. However, it seems that it could be interpreted as the right of states to have their own armory, which U believe makes more sense.
    This being said, guns are just a tool. The problem is not the tool. The problem is the corrupt user of the tool who acts like his father, Cain, in killing his brother.

    Guns can, and are, most often used for good. Walking the ranch, you run into a rattlesnake or a wild boar, you pull out your 9mm pistol and you kill the animal that is a danger to you and others. Hiking, you run into a Grizzly bear and you need to defend yourself. During hunting season you kill a deer, elk, turkey, goose ( hopefully many geese), pheasant, etc, as food for your family. A gun is a great tool for this task.

    Don't hate on the gun. Hate on the corruption of humankind that uses tools for evil.

    My compromise is to restrict the types of guns to be sold to the public and the amount of rounds that can be used by that tool before reloading. Keep it low. Most guns need no more than 3 shots.

I weighed out into their hand 650 talents of silver, and silver vessels worth 200 talents, and 100 talents of gold, 20 bowls of gold worth 1,000 darics, and two vessels of fine bright bronze as precious as gold.
