    You are discussing Biblical Chronology. Didn't you and understand that from Adam to the 1st coming of Jesus passad on around 4.000 years?

    Based in the Word of God, the source of the truth, on GOD's six Days of creation and one Day of rest (a total of seven days) plus the Scriptures that teach that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years (2Pet.3:v.8), so MANKIND would go through six GOD Days of 1,000 years each (a total of 6,000 years) plus a Millennium of 1,000 years rest (now a total of 7,000 years).

    According biblical Chronology, we can number our days starting in Genesis 5, as follow:
    Adam lived ….....................................................130 yrs and begat Seth
    Seth lived ………………………….......................105 yrs and begat Enosh;
    Enosh lived ..........................................................90 yrs and begat Kenan;
    Kenan lived...........................................................70 yrs and begat Mahalalel;
    Mahalalel lived .....................................................65 yrs and begat Jared;
    Jared lived .........................................................162 yrs and begat Enoch;
    Enoch lived ..........................................................65 yrs and begat Methuselah;
    Methuselah lived................................................187 yrs and begat Lamech;
    Lamech lived .....................................................182 yrs and begat Noah;
    From Noah´s birth until the Flood......................600 yrs.
    Total of years from Adam to the Flood =.........1,656 yrs.

    What prevails is the Word of GOD. I work with the Word of God. Notice that the table above is proved by the Word of GOD, it is not of human theories or human speculations. Let us study the times until our days not by human theories and speculations, but by the Word of GOD - the Word is GOD. So, see the table below:

    SIX PERIODS OF BIBLICAL TIMES ----------------- DURATION
    I - From Adam to the Flood- (Genesis 5)--------------1,656 years
    II - From the Flood to Abraham-(Genesis 11&12)-----427 years
    III - From Abraham to Exodus-(Gal.3:17)----------------430 years
    IV - From Exodus to king Saul-(1Reis 6:1-480-84)----396 years
    V - From Saul to the fall of Jerusalem ------------------.508 years
    VI - From the fall of Jerusalem to Jesus ----------------.587 years
    Thus, from Adam to the 1st coming of Jesus 4.004 years

    NOW
    From Jesus to our days (Christian Calendar)--------.2,021 years
    Total from Adam to our days -----------------------------6,025 years

    Now, now, don't you believe that the Word (the Word was GOD) was made flesh -JESUS- around TWO DAYS AGO, OR AT RIGHT TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO?

    I see no reason to call millennia 'days'. Also it may confuse some who are thinking about the six day creation, which happened in six days, long long ago.

    Genesis 1:1. A beginning. From a time unknown.
    Genesis. 1:2. Without a form. For a time unknown.
    Genesis 1:3-31, the first 6 days. We suppose 144 hours. 6, 24 hour days.

    Genesis 2:4 God calls that week a day. Based on that, many interpert these seven days long periods of time. . . . But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. . . . -- 2 Peter 3:8.

    Many, if not most, Young Earth Creationist think Genesis 1:1-2 are part of the 1st 24 hour day.

    I personally disagree with most Young Earth and Old Earth Creationist. I hold an old universe and a literal six days. Exodus 20:11.

    According Scriptures, JESUS was born in the time of Herod the Great, the Roman-appointed king of Judaea (37–4 BCE).

    Well, your thinking is from a human perspective, not from God's perspective.

    Genesis was revealed to Moses by the Almighty GOD, my GOD, around 2.500 years after Adam, of course, or around 1.500 years before Christ, in other words, after two days and half of His works. In his pray, Moses said: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom-Psalm 90:v.12. And JESUS, after about 4 thousand years after Adam, said: My Father worketh hitherto, and I work-John 5:v.17. SNIP

    The reply was about the time of JESUS's birth, this the case.

    The time is well known and given six ways from Sunday..in days. Morning and evenings also if some are a little slow.
    No. The form came after it was first made. He put the finishing touches on it.
    OK.

    The issue is not what a day seems like to Jesus! The issue is that in the account given to man, we are told it was 6 days.
    That is what believing the bible results in.
    Since the universe we know will pass away one day why would it need to be old? This universe lasts only as long as God finds it suitable for man!

    Or, in other words 1500BC

    Numbering our days has to do with our lives I would think. Our lives are not thousands of years old.

    Of course, "thousand of years old" signifies nothing. What did my Lord JESUS say? Luke 18:v.28-30-among other Scriptures as references-.
    28 - Peter said to JESUS: Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
    29 - JESUS said unto Peter: Verily I say unto you, There is no MAN that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake,
    30 - Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and IN THE WORLD TO COME LIFE EVERLASTING. (So, not only 'thousand of years" as your human imagination).

    Don't you know? The last ENEMY that shall be destroyed is death.
    The kingdoms of this world are become THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever- Revelation 11:v.15 combined with Luke 20:v.35-36, among other Scriptures-.

    You assume Genesis 1:1-2 are part of Genesis 1:3-5.

    Genesis 2:4 says, ". . .These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
    . . ."

    It was not me who mentioned thousands of years but you. I was reminding you that the world was created in 6 days, not millennia.

    No. I said nothing about that and have no idea why you mention it. Anyhow the account of the creation of heaven and earth is in Gen 1. It was finished by chapter two.

    8 But, beloved, be not IGNORANT of this one thing, that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years,...

    Genesis 1:1-2 are before the six days.
    Genesis 1:3-31 are the six days. 144 hours.

    That does not mean that one day to man is anything but a day. Nor does it even mean that a thousand years confuses God, and He doesn't know what a day is. So when He told us how many days were involved in creation you can take that to the bank.

    No. The heaven and earth were created in Gen 1. Inserting a gap has no bible support at all. You are on your own with that.

    Genesis 1:2 has no Biblical support? It is in fact between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:3.
    The first day of the first week is Genesis 1:3-5.
