You still do not get it BF. The atonement covers the sins of mankind His life provides salvation for those that believe. Those that hear and believe will turn from their sin but as we know not everyone that hears believes do they.

You say that all Christ died for will turn from their sins but that view makes you a universalist according to scripture.

For whom did Christ die
1Ti 2:6 who gave Himself a ransom for all
Heb 2:9 that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Joh 3:17 that the world through Him might be saved
1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Rom 5:6 Christ died for the ungodly.

Do you fit into any of those groups? If you do then Christ came to die for you.

But there is a condition for salvation. FAITH.
Mar_16:16 He who believes ...will be saved
Act_16:31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Rom_10:9 confess ... believe ... you will be saved
Gal_3:8 ...God would justify the Gentiles by faith
Gal_3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
1Co_1:21 ... save those who believe

Christs death covered all them who He turns them from their sins, thats the blessing of Abraham, which is Salvation Lk 1:72-74

We are saved by Christ life. If you don't believe that then you are denying scripture.
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Notice those words "having died to sins", what do you think those mean? You deny the obvious so that you can hold to your man-made theology.

They were saved by Him giving His Life, His suffering unto death, that healed/saved them.

The word with here means along with, accompanying, in other words, with His stripes, culminating in His death, along with it came spiritual healing and forgiveness. Ps 103:3

Paul when writing to the Romans he wrote Rom 8:32

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

BF you had better read Luke1:72-74 in context, it is Zechariah's Prophecy about his son John the Baptist and how he, John, would would point the Jews to the Messiah. So those verses are about the nation of Israel, sorry.

This scripture, perhaps more than any other, does inform us of the effects of the Death of Christ alone , for all whom He died, Tasted Death for Heb 2:9 for that is what stripes stand for, His Death, and by that the Inspired Apostle wrote " Ye are Healed " , which in its complete sense means " Ye were saved" ! The word healed here iaomai means:

I.
to cure, heal

II.
to make whole
A.
to free from errors and sins, to bring about (one's) salvation

To Bring about something means:

to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen

So its plainly being stated by Inspiration that Christ's Stripes, meaning His Death produced, and effected your Salvation, made you whole !

This cannot be denied without grave and serious consequences !
