Well, I have to admit I really can’t keep up. I just read a story that the shooter is a trans woman that identifies as a man.

I thought I finally had it figured out. I thought a trans woman was a man identifying as a woman and versa vice.

Better to just say a mentally ill person committed an act of pure evil.

    peace to you

The news just stated that the shooter was a former student at the school.

I saw that. 28 years old and it was a middle school, so though 6th grade. So, 15-18 years ago.

Also, this read the shooter had a college degree and a worked as a graphic designer.

I guess the “manifesto” will give some insight into motive.

Also, I read POTUS commented about it, but prior he made jokes about ice cream and such.

    peace to you

God, in the mysterious purpose of His will, has granted Satan the right to martyr 6 believers in Tennessee. May their cries for justice flow to the throne of our King and may our King bring good from evil.

The church has (at least temporary) shut down their web site -
On their FB page - I sent a PM and mention that prayers are coming from NY.

Yeah, I got the impression that might be the case, but with all of the confused language these days details such as those are hard to come by.

"Students of the school, which serves preschool students through sixth graders, were bused to Woodmont Baptist Church, 2 miles away, where they were reunited with their parents."

[Woodmont is SBC/CBF, the home church of the Vice President of the SBC Executive Committee. His wife is 'Minister of Students & Discipleship' there.]

My daughter called last night. Her children attended another Christian school near by. She said their churches are sister churches & some who attend her church have kids in that school. It has been stated that the shooter, through notes & manifesto, also considered targeting another school but dismissed it because of their security. Gun free zones are the best targets for sickies who would so such a thing.

This was a suicide by cop mission. Coward.

Do you trust in guns or God?
Certainly a person with an agenda will seek out the path of least resistance. The thing is...why did this frustration escalate to this level of anger in the first place? Second, do you imagine God was unable to protect his children? Certainly you don't. Therefore we are left with the mystery of God's purpose in giving Satan the go ahead to have 6 of God's children martyred. There is a purpose behind this. It is much deeper than "arm the school employees with guns to shoot back."
    Revelation 13:10 says this:
If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

The verse is saying that if you take up weapons against the beast, you will die in that fashion. The believer is to have patient endurance and faith in God, who will avenge us.

I know our flesh cries out to fight back and kill demonic forces before they kill us, but that is not what God reveals to the believer.

    The answer is YES!
The Lord trust us to use firearms properly to defend ourselves.
Do you really believe it was Gods will that 6 innocent victims to be murdered?

Of course - that is just one way he could have done so.

Now apparently, since you oppose self-defense -
I would assume that you have no locks on the doors to your house

    some thoughts about self defense

Really? Your first question is about the “frustration” this psychopath experienced that led to his anger? He was “frustrated” because no matter what he did, or what others said, he would always be a man. You cannot change your sex.

It is simple. He was a man that believed he was a woman. He was mentally ill. Instead of getting treatment for his mental illness, he has been taught by radicals that anyone that refuses to go along with his mental illness is evil and a Nazi.

Many Christian parents are refusing to allow their children to be groomed for sexual exploitation with the radical trans indoctrination in schools.

Therefore, in his deranged mind, he decided since Christian wouldn’t allow him and his ilk to groom their children for sexual exploitation, he would make a statement by killing their children.

Your expressed sympathy for the mass murderer, while barely mentioning the victims and their families, is not particularly helpful.

    peace to you

These two are not mutually exclusive. You've erroneously made trusting God and owning guns impossible to co-exist.

    • I trust God, but I also know that to have money, one has to work for a living. I'm not waiting for God to dump lottery monies in my lap.
    • I trust God, but I also take medicine and see doctors.
    • I trust God, but I also drive with caution and obey driving laws.
    • I trust God, but lock my doors day and night, lock my car doors, don't go to Walgreens after dark, and keep my monies in a reputable bank.

Whoops! In your cherry-picking this single verse, you have misinterpreted it. Read it in context. It is saying that those who "work" for the Beast and take captive and murder will have the same thing happen to them.

Yes, the Christian should have faith, but that doesn't mean to be a passive sheep and allow crime of all types to happen to you and your family.

God doesn't want us to say, "Oh, well, oh well, someone stole my purse. I won't call the police. I just trust that God ordained it and I'll forget about it. I don't want to disappoint God and trust the police instead of him."

I didn't misinterpret it at all. We are presently in the Tribulation. God informs us that if we, Christians, pick up weapons to fight back against the beast (governments and false prophet) we will die by those weapons. we are called to endure and have faith. We are not called to pick up weapons. But, if you do, expect to die by that same weapon which you pick up.

Oh, I see. This statement alone proves we will never agree. I'll speak about this no more.

That is a whole another discussion
    go to this link

Lets see - you said - "we will die by those weapons" then you said "Expect to die"

So are you saying that if you do use a weapon against someone - then you will absolutely die by the "sword"?
Does that include police officers ?

BTW - when did you take off all the locks from the doors in your home?
