1 Timothy 2:14 (NASB)
And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer.

Some have suggested (translation in post #11) that Eve's actions while deceived were considered to be "wrongdoer" or "transgression" actions. Not what this verse actually says. The actual idea is that Eve had become and remained in a sinful state. But the reason was Adam's transgression of what he knew was God's will, not to eat the fruit. Thus by one man's transgression, not two people's actions, sin spread to all people including Eve.

So our next verse tells us, "yet women will be saved (from their sinful state due to Adam's sin) by way of fulfilling their child bearing responsibilities to God (bringing up her children in the way they should go) i.e. continuing to raise their children accordingly with faith, love and progressive sanctification facilitated by self restraint.

 

Eve was deceived. Adam rebelled with his eyes wide open.

 

Next it will be allowing the LGBT access to becoming Pastors . Where will it end?

Bishop Spong was here at one time and I watched it get away from him, especially when he allowed gays to become priests. The first homosexual fellow he endorsed promised to be a celebrate but after 6 months brought in another sexual lover and got very left wing Militant radical about having gays in the priesthood… yada yada. And I don’t think Spong was prepared for it, but it spun out of control. Now the Episcopal church in New Jersey is a shell of what it once was. Oh well

Churches who have women deacons are next on the radical conservative SBC chopping block. The motion to exclude them was accepted by this years convention. If that's repeated next year they're out too.
