So you think you know who is a calvinist and what a Calvinist should or should not believe?

I used to be on a reformed forum but was told I cannot be a calvinist because I wasn't a Presbyterian.

    @David Kent,
What single Biblical teaching do you find most compelling that you cannot not be a Calvinist? A starting point.

What is the old saying, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck you can be quite sure it is a duck.

I do not tell Calvinists what they should believe but I will point out when what they are saying does not line up with the bible.

On the other hand I have had many Calvinists tell me that I might not even be a Christian as I did not adhere to their theological view.

The one verse I would useā€¦

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. - Revelation 5:4

That Christ died for the sins of all men and rose again that all men could be saved.

2Co 5:18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
2Co 5:19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
2Co 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
2Co 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Correction to my post in #106. I missed copying the first line of my response.
    The post should have read.

These are the reasons that I CANNOT be a Calvinist. Calvinism does not hold this view.
