Jesus is the Last Adam. There is more than one Adam.
*Their* name was Adam...
Genesis 5:2
"Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."
'Their' means more than one.
By the way, none of you have acknowledged your very serious error of adding the word 'Spiritual' to Genesis 2:17.
What kind of death was it? Will anyone answer or will you folks keep playing games and denying?
Your silence speaks volumes.
You have so many problems that fixing one is not going to help you much.
Here is what the Bible says about Adam and you and me in our natural and physical state,
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Adam was spiritually dead when he sinned. Death means separation and that is all it means. The wages of sin is death from Adam after he sinned through the present time. The Spirit of God is life now as well as for Adam when he was created and placed in the Garden with God. His sin separated him and his offspring from God and nary a person born of Adam had the Spirit of God dwelling in his body until God made him his gift to all who would believe him, God, and trust the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for us.
Thank God for his goodness to us all through Jesus Christ, the only remedy for sin..
