You answer your own question BF and yet failed to understand it.

What did John say to them
Mat 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?
Mat 3:8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.

2Co 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

Any man, no matter how bad, can turn to God in faith and be saved. That is why we preach the gospel to all men, as no man is beyond the love of God.

“There is no saint without a past, no sinner without a future.” Augustine

Remember that many of the Pharisees and Sadducees did turn to Christ in faith.
Don't forget Matt 7:17-18

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit

You put a lot of confidence in the flesh

Just as God has, He has provided the means for man to know Him and will hold man responsible for the choices they make. That is why we are told man has no excuse. If it were impossible for man to turn and trust in God then we would have an excuse.

God “...decided not which choice the man should make but that he should be free to make it.” A. W. Tozer

Yep sure did, in Adam, and then threaten Adam/man with death if he made a the choice to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, what was threat if he ate ? You know your bible, what did God say would happen in the day man eats ?

No God doesnt have a lot of confidence in the flesh, thats a delusion.

Rom 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Word of God disagrees with you BF.

To say God has confidence in mans flesh is not only a delusion but utter Blasphemy ! Rom 8:8

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Rom 7:18

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

And you still deny the truths of the bible BF. We are all in the flesh/sinful but God has provided the means for even us sinful men to know Him.

Your continued cherry picking verses is what causes you to have such a twisted view of scripture.

You have confidence in the flesh, but God says Rom 8:8

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Its like saying Matt 7:18

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

ye defy scripture !

Then you do not understand the word of God. God holds man responsible for making choices.

Of course He does, I never stated otherwise, unfortunately they whcih are in the flesh can only make sinful choices , because he is dead. By nature none doeth good friend Rom 3:12

They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The fact you continue to ignore context is the reason that you make so many mistakes BF.

God expects man to make real choices even in their sinful state and he will be judged according to those choices.

All that Paul is telling us is that even though we are saved we still sin. We sinned prior to our salvation and we still sin even after we are saved.

That is the point that Paul is making in those verses BF and you would know this if you read things in context and could get past your C/R bias.

It is really disheartening to see someone who says they preach make so many errors when dealing with the bible.

If you had bothered to actually read the context you would know that Paul is using hyperbole to make a point, we all sin both Jews and Gentiles.

But for you to draw from those verses that man can not make correct choices flies in the face of the word of God where we are told man can.

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Pro 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

Those who reject God do not please Him but that does not says that man cannot respond to the various means that God uses to draw them to Himself.

He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed... John 3:17

BF you even disagree with Jesus.

You have to read that into the text BF which is why you make so many errors.

Man chose to reject God in Adam, and so he died, he cannot please God now Rom 8:8

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

What did God tell us in Adam in the beginning, if we disobey Him Gen 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
