The Gospel explains how God saved us, the work of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It also explains who God saved, the elect
Off topic diversionary post, we were chosen for salvation through faith in the truth, not chosen then given instilled faith via irresistible grace.

Yet another idiotic absurdity, we were chosen for salvation through or on the basis of faith in the truth, therefore we can to faith BEFORE God chose us as individuals for salvation.
Faith is given in salvation; the Spirit works it in on the basis of Christ having saved us

All of Savation by grace through faith is the Gift of God and not of ourselves.
More dancing around the issue, more deception and diversion. We were chosen for salvation through faith, thus God credited our faith in the truth as righteousness as the basis of His choice. The accreditation was a gracious gift, but our initial faith was not supernaturally instilled by irresistible grace, that is the Calvinist fiction found nowhere in scripture.

Faith is given when we are saved by the regeneration by the Spirit based upon the work of Christ
Yet another false claim of idiotic absurdity, we already have been chosen for salvation through faith in the truth, when we are put spiritually into Christ and then after we have been set apart in Christ, we undergo the washing of regeneration whereby we are born anew, holy and blameless before Him.

Faith is part of the salvation by Grace. None of Salvation is of ourselves its all the Gift of God.
1 John 5:12, He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

John 1:12, . . . as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: . . . .

All of Savation by grace through faith is the Gift of God and not of ourselves. Yes Faith is supernaturally instilled by the Spirit, for faith is the fruit of the Spirit.

Spot On!! As many as received Him, those who put their trust and devotion in Christ, as determined and credited by God, to them He gave the power to become children of God by transferring them into Christ and causing them to be born anew spiritually, as siblings of Christ. In short, their election for salvation gave them the power to become children of God!!!

Faith/believing in Christ is a Gift of Grace Acts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

And then when the lost put their trust and devotion in Christ, they falsely claim our faith in the truth, our faith in His gracious gift, means our faith was instilled by irresistible grace. Folks, that is just more idiotic absurdity!
