    Question: What happens if you die while you're sinning?

    Answer: Depends on the nature of the sin. In the case of a mortal sin, you may be condemned to hell. If it is a venial sin, you will spend some time in Purgatory.

    Any other unrepentant sins should also be taken into consideration.

    Actually, it has nothing to do with the nature of the sin.

    It has to do with whether the person was a Spirit born child of God or not.

    If the person who dies sinning is a lost person, they will be consigned to hell

    If the person who dies sinning is born of the Spirit they go instantly into the presence of God.

    The Catholic Churchs "mortal sin" vs "venial sin" stuff is complete nonsense, as is the fairy tale of purgatory.

    I dont blame him, it's useles trying to have a conversation about anything with people when they keep pretending they dont understand what you are saying and/or keep on twisting what you say.

    For instance... how many times and ways can I say I dont think of myself as being sinless... but they will go on and on insisting I said that.

    You cant have any kind of a serious conversation when it is this way.

    Claudia; They are attempting to get you to say something they can hang you with or cross yourself so they can mock you. Their purpose is not to debate. In all my years I have never heard anyone expouse the things the fellows do about the spirit being saved the soul lost the body gone forever and on and on. It is so far out of bounds that it is not funny anymore and I for one think we have run into so people that got their belief from some other book than the Bible.

    If you think Apostle Paul was breaking the Commandments while teaching others not to then you just don't understand the Scriptures. I also feel I am cheif of all sinners while I have lived on this earth, but thanks to God He forgave me of them as He did Apostle Paul.
    (I can see where someone who wanted to justify sinning would twist that Scripture to fit his case also, but Apostle Paul meant in his life for he went on to say he had persecuted the Church of God.)

    Blind lead the blind and both fall in the ditch.

    The righteous of the Law is fulfilled in us. How could that be if you are breaking it and sinning?

    Hop; you said you felt sorry for me for not adding to the Scriptures but please don't for I don't want the punishment for doing so. Many of a good men have went astray by reading material from people like you. I feel sorry for them. I have a special place for that kind of material. Have you ever considered the Scripture;

    Galatians, chapter 1

    10": For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

    "11": But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

    "12": For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

    "13": For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

    I can certainly provide you with quotes from people in the past that taught the truth of accountability at the judgment seat of Christ. This is not some new thing. Watchman Nee believed that Christians who were disobedient would miss the kingdom, GH Lang, DM Panton, RE Neighbour... All men who also understood the free grace of God that you would deny to someone who does not measure up to your level of holiness. If grace be of works it is no more grace. This cannot be rationalized in any way to mean that if you sin, you no longer are worthy of grace. You need to learn to rightly divide between the gift and the reward. You work for the reward, not the gift.

    JN; You do err when you keep saying that I said Salvation by works to which I have never ever said. You accept the Scriptue by Grace are you saved through faith but deny the many Scriptures that teaches what God does to a man when He is saved such as put His laws in his heart and write them in his mind, such as the righteous of the Law is fulfilled in us and that don't mean breaking them either, such as do we make void the Law through faith, God forbid we establish the Law, and on and on but you turn a blind eye to these Scripture and use tactics of attacking you opponent with false statements which just don't work.

    James wise up! all those names you gave there are just as many who would give a different belief. Apostle Paul had the same problem from teachers of false doctrine until he found out that knowledge came from God Himself.

    I don't guess you would tell me what denomination you belong to would you?

    Hebrews 10:16-17
    16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
    17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

    Where does this say that Christians cannot sin? Assuming that when you got saved, God put His law in your heart, can you not still grieve the Holy Spirit? I believe the blood of Christ can make a man holy, but that comes with maturity, it is not an instant process. Some Christians never mature, Paul had to admonish the Corinthians for being carnal and unable to bear anything but milk. And what milk did he give them?

    1 Corinthians 3:13-15
    13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
    14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
    15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

    Christian, your going to be judged for your works and you can find yourself in trouble at the judgment seat of Christ. But eternal salvation is a free gift and it cannot be earned, it cannot be lost.

    Oh, I think we are judged everyday of our lives whether saint or sinner. This is so repetitious, you quote I quote and over and over. I know we sin but I do not believe and think any preacher or teacher of whatever Christian is doing their congregation a disservice to advocate they can commit adultery, murder etc and never be lost for if they do such things they will never see what Heaven looks like. How can the righteous of the Law be fulfilled in us if we break it. I am not saying we in ourselves have the strength but by the Holy Ghost that is within us we fulfill the righteous of the law. I could go and copy and paste again all the Scriptures I have put on here before but it would not be to any gain.

    You do need to quit teaching others they can be saved and still commit adultery, murder, lying, stealing, coveting their neighbors wife, worshiping cows or idols, etc. Jesus did not teach such things.

    Some advice, when you find youself saying or doing things that Jesus did not do then you have it wrong and you need to go back and take inventory of your message.

    I have a funeral to take care of at 11:00 so must get ready. I be back this evening if God's will.

    9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
    10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

    Galatians 5:21
    21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

    The kingdom of God, the thousand year kingdom on this earth, is not eternity, is not 'heaven', is not what you receive for believing on Christ alone. It is a reward for obedience.

    2 Thessalonians 1:5
    5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

    1 Corinthians 15:24-26
    24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
    25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
    26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

    death is not destroyed until the end of the millennium, then is the end. Then is when all those who have been promised eternal life through faith, but failed of the grace of God to inherit the kingdom will be raised up, on the last day.

    John 6:39-40
    39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
    40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

    John 11:24
    24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

    When is the last day? This is it.

    How long does everlasting life last?

    HP: How long it last is a given. How you hold the ‘knowledge’ of whether or not you are in possession of what you think you possess is the real question. Scripture informs we hold that ‘knowledge’ by faith. Faith must of necessity allow for some possibility of deception. Faith and absolute knowledge are at antipodes. In this world we can ONLY ‘know’ of our eternal destiny by faith, and faith alone. Until we see our names literally written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and hear the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant!” we will be bound to the confines of faith, and absolute knowledge is hidden from our understanding.

    Sure we can know of our salvation…..by faith. Scripture warns us to examine ourselves to ‘see IF we be of the faith,” and that deception is a real possibility, if not probability in many cases. “Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
    23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    Are you going to try and prove your faith by your faith? How will that prove anything? Why not prove your faith by your works, even as the Apostle James admonished us was the proper means of doing so. “Show me thy faith without thy works, but I will show you my faith by my works, for faith without works is dead being alone.”

    Please prove us, where in the Bible saying the kingdom of God/heaven is 'a thousand years of kingdom'?

    You have to be realized that Matt. 7:23; 13:42,50; 25:30,41,46, and more... speak so loud of everlasting punishment and separated from God and the kingdom. There is none verse promises us, that a person will be being released out from the fire BEYOND the Judgment Day.

    James, I do not agree with Joey Faust, Gary Whipple, and others teaching that Christians shall be suffering in the lake of fire for a temporary. I easily lable their teaching sound like as Christian purgatory like as Roman Catholic teaching on it.

    there is NO purgatory in the Bible! Peroid!

    We all have our future destiny beyond death, which two places we will go - lake of fire or God's kingdom - eternality.

    Matt. 25:46 is the clearest verse teaching us, that two groups will have their future final eternality destiny. God already set our destiny as the final conclusion for eternality. God doesn't guarantee us, that a Christian will be finally released out of the lake of fire BEYOND the Judgment Day.

    Please show us where in the Bible saying that a Christian shall be finally being be released out of the lake of fire beyond the Judgment Day?
