What are your thoughts on Islam ?

I think Trump is checking into that, lol. Still, this is America, and those who come here legally without intent to harm America and Americans have a right to worship as they choose, just as we do. Our only real hope of combatting a muslim rise is the Gospel, in my view. God bless.

What are your thoughts on Islam ?

I don't know that I'd call them dangerous, lol. Probably better to look at the over-zealous as either new to the faith (and thinking that's the way it is done), or perhaps they are striving so hard because they think that in some way that ingratiates them to God or are "proving" their salvation...

    Self defense and security teams?

Going to have to disagree. This is spoken with a context of the Body of Christ and refers to conduct within the body. Romans 13 King James Version 13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever...

    A Perfect Righteousness

No, actually they were justified. And this—in an Old Covenant context. Romans 4 is given to show a precedent for justifying individuals based on faith, yet most look at this chapter and say Abraham had received what the New Testament over and over say they had not. So, back up. Read Romans 3...

    A Perfect Righteousness

Are you arguing that Christ was slain from the foundation of the world in a literal sense?

    A Perfect Righteousness

There's actually quite a bit of Scripture that makes it clear that, while the Lord certainly knew who would be saved, they were not saved (redeemed, in an eternal context) until Christ redeemed them from their sins. You are suggesting a salvation that did not exist prior to the Cross. Here are...

“The prodigal son and the unjust Steward”

I'm afraid I can't see using Christ telling a parable as a prooftext for making the Spirit of God His brother as a valid approach. Using that method, there are numerous parables that could be misrepresented as teaching something about Christ that Scripture denies elsewhere. I did take a look at...

Sorry to hear about this. I will pray for her. God bless.

What are your thoughts on Islam ?

When we understand that we aren't the ones that can open eyes or hearts, and follow where we feel the Lord is leading us, then we ought not worry over what we think we are or are not accomplishing. Every time your friend is witnessing to muslims is a time they aren't out gaining muslim...

    Self defense and security teams?

I take the view that "the spiritual realm" involves the flesh of wicked men as well. When we see people commit heinous crimes, I believe many of them operate under demonic possession. And even when it is simply the evil within men, there's still good reason not to stand around and watch evil act...

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

Isaiah 13:19-20 King James Version 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent...

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

Keep in mind that the Seventieth Week is a judgment against Israel. Through the Tribulation the Lord will be purging the nation while drawing from among them. Right now, Israel is a secular nation in large part, but I do believe they still fall under His protection. God bless.

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

I'd agree with this, except I don't view the sixth millennium to have finished yet. I think it is soon, though. Don't know that our generation will live to see the Rapture, but I too believe it won't be long. God bless.

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

You say this like God simply brushed salvation over everyone. What I am trying to help you understand is that there is a difference between being "saved" in the Old Testament and receiving Eternal Redemption through the Work of Christ: Galatians 4:4-6 King James Version 4 But when the fulness...

You might look for one that does. Regeneration is salvation. God bless.

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

And ...? Sorry, no. All who were saved within previous dispensations had to await the coming of Christ and His atoning work. What you are saying is that there are more ways to receive Eternal Redemption than through Christ. Sorry, no. Let me ask you a question: do you think Christians...

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

Prophecy can be seen to have multiple fulfillments. The best example of this is prophecy concerning the coming of Messiah. The coming of Messiah has been fulfilled, but not in full. An example would be found here: Luke 4:17-20 King James Version 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of...

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

Hmm, still smarting from our discussions about amillenialism? Just to clarify, the argument I have presented is that the Gospel is dispensational. While it is presented as early as Genesis 3, it is not revealed until Pentecost, when the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth is sent to reveal it. In...

Unapologetic Dispensational Truths - Is the KJV Required For Us to Believe It.

Nowhere in anything I said did I say this. This is why I asked you to respond to the post; you would be less likely to improperly quote me. And I still suggest that you do this: respond to the argument presented. I'm a little confused, here. You say you've been a "dispensationalist for fifty...
