I don't know what "Race" has to do with our conversation.

Charlie Kirk debates regarding the Pope & other

Hello, Cathode! Here we are again finding our many differences in Scripture. That's the way it is. I can't place any faith for salvation in a ceremony where I'm depending on another man to perform it. That's the same type problem Paul had with the Galatian Church, with man performing...

It makes all the difference. Those religious leaders "were not of God" and there is no way they could believe what Christ was saying. God's interest was far from their hearts.

    Faith # 4

Christ was talking to the religious leaders in John 8:47, the Pharisees, telling them they were not who they claimed to be, they didn't have God in their hearts, they are imposters, how could you believe what I'm saying. They had their own interests at heart, not God's interest. Do you...

Yes, we agree on that! We will all appear before the judgment seat of Christ to answer for what we have done in this life, whether it's good or bad. This is the judgment of the just in Christ, not for sin, but for our faithfulness and motivation in what we did and didn't do as servants of Christ.

OK, BF, you know I have to throw in my disapproval. I will have to answer for what I have heard and done, and what I didn't do!

If you place what you've said in the spiritual sense of water baptism, the circumcision of Christ in the spiritual realm, then you'll be in accordance with Col. 2. "Buried with Him in baptism and risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God." Then you can see that the physical water...

Babylon to Pentecost. God's long game? Seeds of the Gospel to the Gentiles.

I reply to my own posts on a regular basis. Not usually in correction as you have done, but in a sense of continuing thought, adding to the previous post. I guess some may think I'm talking to myself, actually that may be true.

That's where the phrase "hyper-Calvinism" can be correctly used.

Salvation before believing. Wonder what's wrong with that?

But I think you like that, kinda like that old TV show, "Rebel Without A Cause."

As long as you deny these many clear verses of Scripture to uphold a theory, you will continue to be rejected by mainstream Christianity.

Paul, the same man who wrote your beloved predestination also said that God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Is Paul contradicting himself, or are you totally misunderstanding what predestination really is?

    Faith # 4

It's the conviction of sin that man rejects. Man loves his sin, doesn't want to hear his sins nailed Christ to the Cross. He doesn't see a need for a Savior. Some precious few do see they need a Savior, the conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit brings them to their spiritual knees. Some come...

    Faith # 4

No sir! One has to realize they are a sinner in need of a Savior to be saved. That's the purpose of spreading the Gospel so they can hear and let the Holy Spirit reach in the heart of man with truth. But man is a free moral agent, he can reject that calling of the Holy Spirit.

I'm very surprised that you believe that, Van. I would have never guessed that from your past posts!

If you don't hold on to your faith to the end, there will be no glorified body!

    Sure they were.

    Faith # 4

Saved is the result of hearing and believing. In John 8:47 they could not hear because they were not of God, they were not who they claimed to be! If you go back to vs. 13, you will see it was the Pharisees that Christ was speaking to. They claimed to be of God but they were not, they could...

Van, you use the Greek quite often, much more than I do, and you understand the in's and out's of it. The Greek word for "destroy" in Matt. 10:28 is "apollymi" and can mean to cease to exist but most often, as in Matt. 10:28, it means to be ruined not ceasing to exist. We know it's not...
