An argument against 7 translations by a former KJVO

Should look into the history of the NIV, I believe there is a book about its history from one of its editors, there is quite a Catholic influence. Anyways, the King James Bible is understandable and we still many of its words. Yes, 17th century English may be hard but the current King James...

    Greetings!

I would like to make a correction, I am recently informed by someone that the myth about italics being new revelation in the English is a lie and its actually implied in the text. Checking on 1 Cori 7:2 where "avoid" is in italics and its implied in the Greek of "nevethless" with Strongs...

The gospel is that Jesus is God manfiested in the flesh, shed his blood on Calvary, died, rose again on the 3rd day to put the blood in the mercy seat which is eternally there and his priesthood never changeth so we can have everlasting life by that one atonment by grace not works lest any man...

    Praying for the dead... ???

Actually, I did get that from a commentory, though it still supports the idea of not purgatory. This parable was to show the king which is God would look our debts (our sins) and see we needed to pay them all. In the gspel of the kingdom, losing salvation is possible, they must not deny the...

    Praying for the dead... ???

Dear Cathode, I do not follow any man anymore for understanding the Bible, I read from the scripture and the scripture doth clearly state my point. God forgive the servant, since he worshipped and it was by his grace.

    The KJV Update Project

Dear reader, Thanks for sharing, I emailed some people and by the grace of God, I am no more confused with this issue. The King James Bible is still the word of God, its probably the same either way in the translation process, there is a lot of things in the other versions that are close...

    Praying for the dead... ???

Actually, I took it from the scripture it self and it literally talked about Paul being the minister, enduring to preach the gospel.

    The Primitive Churches

I guess unity is a good thing, since we are all in the same mind and doctrine. Paul did mention this but this the new idea of unity of Eucnmenicsm isn't the same. We shouldn't comprise to other religions and denominations like Catholics. I am not really sure about this Fuller either.

    Purgatory

Charity is perfect love, second kinda of making works a must, we are saved by faith not works. There is no other cross in the other life, its either paradise or everlasting torment. We are sinless to him when born again, Jesus already took on himself our sins. Do not twist scripture.

    Purgatory

Dear Cathode, according to the context this is about Paul going through persecutions and other hardships to preach the gospel. This still have irrelvance to the other life and purgatory. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon...

    Praying for the dead... ???

I still don't understand where the pray for dead is in that verse. Maybe its in the Acryophal? The only punishment is hell or everlasting life.

    Praying for the dead... ???

Those who want to go to kingdom of heaven have to forgive others, don't deny Jesus and do rest. My stance still stand

The historic failures of church leadership

To be Biblically sound, we must realize that the Trinity idea is pagan, pushed in by Catholics, and the truth is the Godhead. There is no three persons, its one person.

    2 Corinthians 1:20 Study

I do not think we can think this baptizm in the time of Moses as something same as the baptism of Christ. When we are born again, we are in Christ, who giveth us the victory unto everlasting life. Alleuia!
