Also, I have to finish reading a book before I can adequately debate on this subject. I have a book on Free Grace Theology, and I know nothing in it. So I have to read it.

Easy Believeism and Free Grace and are same thing, and the truth

The Bible says that salvation is a free gift. Therefore, it must be something that can be received for free. And you cannot get it for free if you are trying to earn it. So, how do you get it? By believing John 3:16. If you read that verse, and believe it, how can you be lost? Otherwise, you...

Free Grace Theology without Penal Substitutionary Atonement, and Free Grace Theology with it.

There's no point in making disciples of people who are going to hell. Being his disciple does not guarantee you entrance into Heaven. Believing in Him does. Of course we should obey Christ and of course we should teach others too, but only after they've believed.

God imputes righteousness to whoever believes That's what Romans says.

GES does not deny substitutionary atonement; they affirm it. If substitutionary atonement is false, then no one paid for your sins. Therefore, since you are a sinner, are all your sins are unpaid for, and since no one qualifies for eternal life through the law, you are straight on your way to...

I can't really tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with GES. You seem to think that James 2 somehow expands Romans 4. Oh and thank you for saying excellent thread and stuff. Sorry, I was seriously asking questions, but now I am pretty certain on the issue, although I am open to reproof if...

Free Grace Theology without Penal Substitutionary Atonement, and Free Grace Theology with it.

I just found an article from faithalone/GES saying they consider penal substitution a fundamental free grace doctrine. So I made a mistake. But I don't think you have to be aware of that to be saved. I think that's what GES says.

I may have misinterpreted the article I read, so it may not deny Penal Substitution, or it may. I really didn't understand it. But I read another article from faithalone.org that talks about Christ being the mercyseat.

What does it mean that "He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"? I really don't understand that verse. Once I took it literally, so basically I blasphemed. I didn't do it on purpose. That's what the verse seems to say.

So God just poured out his anger on Christ for our sins, but he didn't bear the punishment for our sins? I don't know where I got the idea I had from.

Can you please elaborate? I'm not sure exactly what you mean. What does "for" mean in the phrase "Christ died for our sins"

I never knew that propitiation meant reconciliation, or that atonement meant the same thing. I thought it meant it referred to penal substitution. That's why I didn't understand this verse. But we do find in Hebrews the concept of penal substitutionary atonement, correct? I have a hard time...

Free Grace Theology without Penal Substitutionary Atonement, and Free Grace Theology with it.

After reading some of a commentary on Romans by Zane Hodges, I began to have more confidence in the Free Grace Position, but I did not know that GES, which teaches Free Grace Theology, if I am correct, (I may be wrong), does not believe in Penal Substitutionary Atonement. First, I don't want to...

    At the Last Trump

The Bible states in 1 Corinthians 15 that the rapture will happen at the last trump. According to the Greek, this literally means a trumpet, (through the idea of reverberation or quavering.) But if seven trumpets are blown by the angels before what is called in Revelation the first resurrection...

Is this piece of writing a sin?

There was a good reason she rejected me though which she explained to me, and it had nothing to do with me. I didn't fully understand this till after I wrote the letter.

Is this piece of writing a sin?

I have to be honest. The letter is sinful. I wrote this letter to a person who already rejected me, in order to present them a warning I expected them to violate, so that I could pursue somebody else. Had not they violated the warning, I would have been stuck. But I'm not even sure if they had...

Is this piece of writing a sin?

I already talked to this person, who is my friend, a couple times recenty about the last paragraph and how I shouldn't have written it. And she said it's okay.
