My sister in Christ does unschoooling for her child and it works for them. Everyone has to find what works best for their individual situation and go for it. That's also what is so great about homeschooling, it's very flexible. :)

Great post. The bible says to make our supplications be made known to God. And we don't know what his answer will be. We are just supposed to cast all of our cares on him and he'll take care of it. God can do anything and work anything out. We just must not ask amiss just to fulfil our own lusts.

Amen. I had a pastor that would manipulate and use this verse say I should never miss church. He only cared about how many people he could get to attend. He also didn't talk about hot button issues, so I had to leave.

I agree with what Reformed said. Very well said. The bible says pray without ceasing, make your requests and supplications be made known to God. Also we are supposed to intercede for others, which means we pray for other people who can't pray for themselves or need help.

I think it's a problem wen it comes to the lost world. They already come up with excuses not to follow Chist. The fact that there are so many denominations makes it harder for them. They don't understand why there's so many differences. It makes them more lost than they already are.
